I may get flak for this, but goodness some of the comments here are just sooo.blegh. Why is everyone having a go at the crowd? You guys act like the world bows to the Haka and treats it with some reverence...they do not. Saffers sing Ole as loud as they can to drown out the Haka, the Poms sing Swing Low Sweet Chariot, Irish sing Fields of Athenry. Even the Scots chant SCOOOTLAND during Hakas. ...Do you guys watch rugby? Yes it's a nice tradition, but buddy, it's a war c ry, and you're away from home, expect to get some response from the home supporters.

However the more i understood it the more I felt connected to it as a man.(while not even having maori blood) Just like the guy in the beats haka documentary said. Intensity level: 10 I enjoy watching them do their ritual. You’re ready to go after you go there…amped and fired up.

And they mean it. I remember school days in NZ when the opposing teams would get in punch-ups before the Haka ended! All shock hands and were buddies at the end of the game though :) The Kiwi way!

I wouldn’t mind jamming for USA to give them that extra push as most of our NZ players do for other countries

please IRB is it possible to have this competions like they do in the northen hemisphere

Oh now this. This is something. The immense will and pride of the people of the USA, met in equal measures for once by the power and intensity of the All Blacks. Neither side knows quite how to respond to the other, but both know how much of a fight the other side will give. Today, I am satisfied.

The haka is tradition,,,from a South african bok supporter,,,,we respect the haka,,,,and I feel every team can respect it,, USA Got crunched up over a 100 points at home while laughing at the ALL BLACKS,,,we respect the haka,,, it does'nt mean we're scared of the All blacks,,,I just love the haka

I can’t lie I would be a little rattled after facing that. You can feel the energy of past warriors filling the spirits of the young men.

Absolutely bloody Brilliant!!! Prefer when they came to us in Munster! We keep perfectly quiet out of respect and what they did. As we lost Axel and laid the No 8 shirt.

@ this isnt the ka mate haka. This haka is called Timatanga. It's about the creation story of how everything came to be.
@panahox92794 жыл бұрын
@ this is the Maori All blacks not the regular All blacks. Each player has Maori in them. Ka mate is performed by the All blacks but Maori All blacks perform this one.
