It’s easy to look happy on camera, I have lived on and of in a van and there’s happy and unhappy people same as everywhere else

@@sashanealand8315Maybe they are happy but some people just have their mind set on everything being perfect to be happy. Only people paying rent and bills are unhappy but it’s familiar. 😊

Also I just wanted to say, one of my favorite parts of your video was when one of you was holding the camera, and the other was explaining something… And the one holding the camera emitted an almost imperceptible sound of a little giggle, at something the other had done or said. So cute! 🤗

To be completely honest it is the best camper van i've seen so far from all the videos i've checked. It is very well packed for its small size, very practical. And imma pedantic guy myself. And another thing i like is the love you guys share! Positive and sunny people. Thumbs up!

The van conversion was what introduced me to your channel as I was looking to see what could be done with this size of vehicle. It's as good as I've seen tbh. Now I enjoy your travels and how you interact with eachother as well. I like the fact that, unlike most of the other channels I've dipped into, you don't seem to be constantly talking about getting a bigger/newer/more expensive van.

Great van tour. I have converted my Renault Kangoo into a single person campervan with a similiar layout except I use the sofa as my single bed. Many people are surprised that I can sleep and eat very comfortably in it. Particularly on campsites when two people arrive in their massive double axle motorhome, then put up a similiar size awning and then get out all the accessories that go in it ! You are so refreshingly contented with what you have and part of the beauty is when you go to sleep at night, just before you turn out the light you can look at your brilliant van knowing it is all because of you. Love watching you two together. Take care.

Nice Ideas and it’s a joy to see so much love for what you created - but I pretend that MY little „да́ча“ (Dacia Dokker) is also a great and unique conversion. I have a transportable water heater, a dry-separing toilet and a hanging seat that can be attached to the car - you‘re welcome 😊

PS: for the warm shower in sunny days you can just put some water tank on the top and connect a hose when needed... you can't imagine how hot it can become the water with a bit of sun on it! (if needed you can use a dark tank, but I think any thank would suffice)

Indeed swiveling passenger seat opens new opportunities. We have a Skoda Roomster which is "similar" but also no standard swivel seat (turning base) available, will have to tinker one too, so nice to be alle sitting reverse...very ingenious solitions you have installed!

Küçük karavanları daha çok seviyorum. Daha çok km yapabilirsiniz. Yakıttan tasarruf edebilirsiniz. Park sorunu yaşamazsınız. Polis veya herhangi biri aracınızı çekmenizi istemez. Istediğiniz yerde konaklayabilirsiniz. Küçük karavan kış için daha iyidir. Isıtmanız için fazladan alan yoktur. Özellikle ön bölmeden bağımsız ahşap Bir panel yaptırırsanız tam anlamıyla yalıtım sağlamış olursunuz.😊

I love the way your bed folds down and rests on the supports, if I ever put a bed into my Doblo I would do the same but I currently have no plans to sleep in it. My seats are taken out and I have a cabinet which holds all my stuff for fundraising at fairs etc., making tea and a toilet!

Fabulous video. Love your van. Well done. Really like your window shades. In the US, we have a sun shower. It’s a 5 gallon black plastic pouch with a shower head. You place the bag in the sun (roof) to warm up and it gives you warm water for your shower. Just bought a car fridge that runs on 12v or can be charged by the generator or 110v electricity. I had a Doblo Hightop that my son-in-law converted to a basic camper: I loved it, but eventually I needed an automatic shift so had to sell it. I regret it to this day. However, I now have a Bongo that I've almost finished converting my self, ready for the adventure of a lifetime next year. Good luck with your travels.

Yea, the best mini van - mini camper i've ever seen. People told me: you should buy something like WV T4. For me only! And you show that mini van is enough even for two person. Wow! Respect!

Very comprehensive explanation, which is extremely useful to potential vanners. I was interested to see how high the headroom is in the Doblo. I tried a Renault Kangoo recently and it is too low.

I’ve had a rooftop tent for a couple of years. I’ve used it solo for solo adventures in the Uk. I’m retired now, and drove through Spain and am now in Morocco with my wife. We had a great time but we will have to buy a van like yours and copy your plan, I’ll keep the roof tent as a guest bedroom. Oh P.S. you’re a gorgeous couple I was trying to guess Mrs Omar’s nationality but figure it’s Poland Gin Dobre

I already have a Transit Custom camper van with a pop-top which is great, but I'm being drawn to getting a micro camper as well for when I'm out solo or wanting to stealth camp. I've been looking at the VW Caddy but your Doblo looks great. I really love the colour and everything you've done to it. You've come up with some great ideas there and I feel inspired by what you've done with yours. Thanks for sharing.

It's an Omnia oven, you can cook pretty much anything you could in a normal oven. There's so many recipes and a big Facebook group for tips/ideas too

Yeh, I would say that is the best microcamper I have see and you two are a delightful couple and seem very happy together....and that's the main thing. We bought a Doblo in 2014 when became tired of the British weather, living on a boat on the Broads. We only had a blow up mattress and boxes, but toured Europe through 15 countries. That lead to us buying something bigger in 2015 to go house hunting in Portugal and bought a 08 Vivaro, which after a very simple conversion still have. We now have our place in the sun in central Portugal and travel throughout Europe, Recently.. Italy Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria. But you guys are younger and well set in your home, if you plan on coming to Portugal let me know, we would love to see you both, show you some good free park up. I wish you health and happiness, everything else is optional. Bonne chance..

Great little van, if you could stretch the tap to the back of the van and attach a shower curtain to the hatch door when open that would give you a private shower without having to put the wooden frame up

This is such a cool conversion, I watched this video multiple times because it’s so impressive! Very clear that you’ve built this to work perfectly for you two over the years, I am wondering how long you have to have the diesel heater running to have it heat up the van sufficiently? Thank you, the heater only takes about 5/10 mins to start making the van warm. Then we can keep it on low once we're happy with the temp 👍🏼
