I just turned 51 years old last week, and I have been eating pop tarts for as long as I can remember. Maple and brown sugar is my favorite. Followed by frosted cherry, there is also a frosted grape. You must stick with the pop tart brand, not any generics they definitely taste different. Enjoyed this video, kind of nostalgic considering I’ve been eating pop tarts for almost 50 years. Also tried the Jolly Rancher Cherry ones, was not a fan. So many flavors. In grocery store, there are at least 4-5 shelves for all the flavors.

I’m from Texas, I like to toast a slice of bread and put creamy peanut butter on it while it’s warm. The peanut butter melts. Delicious toast. I didn’t know pop tarts had a peanut butter flavor, I’ll have to keep an eye out and try it. Great video!

I am Italian and I was lucky enough to try the s'mores one toasted and.... ahhh amazing!! But totally for breakfast! Here breakfast HAVE to be sweet (and maybe even overly sweet for some people!) and for a snack it is a little bit too much!

When I was little they were not frosted first off, second there were maybe 4 flavors, Strawberry, cherry, blueberry and Raspberry. Any one of those frosted I would prefer over any of the new fangled ones. Raspberry is my favorite. Slightly burned. The pastry is really good really toasted. Then I eat the outside first. :/

in australia you will only find pop tarts in international grocery stores or in small independant candy shops that specialise in imports :) i have actually never tried them though..

I love them with melted butter. I know, weird but my mother showed me years ago, and I'm almost 40 now, still put a tad of butter on it. My fave is brown sugar.

My family mainly only gets pop tarts for road trips, but I prefer them toasted.

When I was growing up we only had the fruit flavors of 🍓 and blueberry to choose, also frosted and unfrosted. It was a special treat when we had frosted pastries. Mom always shopped well and we had generic pastries called Toast-Ems. My favourite is the frosted strawberry then the cinnamon brown sugar.

I used to love the strait strawberry one, without frosting, they were great for breakfast. I can't eat the new ones with frosting.

I like hot fudge sundae pop tarts toasted then chopped in small squares and add to vanilla ice cream. I also like cinnamon and brown sugar.

I’m Canadian and we don’t have nearly as many flavours as the US does. I’ve never been a big fan but my husband is. When we’ve had them they’re more of a snack than breakfast food.

Haven’t bought them since my kids were little, but their favorites were : 1. Wild Berry. 2. Cinnamon Roll 3. Strawberry Milkshake. From New Hampshire, USA. Also Kate, these have never had toys in them, but I think maybe a puzzle or game on the box. Cheers! Love your videos!

Cherry and s’mores are my favorite!! I prefer them toasted but I’m not above eating them cold. I get a box once or twice a year but I’d prefer toaster strudels!! They’re frozen but more like a pastry and you toast them. Wish you guys had those to taste test!!

Pop tarts are by far the best straight out the freezer!!!! They don't freeze solid but the filling gets nice and cold and omg sooooo good

Great video, kids. I'm 57 and so was 2 years old when Pop-Tarts debuted in the U.S. The ones you are trying are all what I would consider 'special edition' Pop-Tarts. The originals did not have frosting on them. Frosted pop-tarts came along in 1967. Flavors like brown sugar / cinnamon, cherry and strawberry are what I would consider the original 'classic' flavors.

I loved getting toys in my cereal. Some of them I really had fun with. Pop-tarts never had them though.

I love the cookies and creme heated and thence when they come out of the toaster ,put butter on them make sure you get the butter all the way to the ends and a nice cold glass of milk,Oh my so good,that salty and that sweet OMW!!! Or butter on any of them really. And the hot fudge sundae ones in the freezer and a glass of milk soooo good! ( no butter on those. LOL.) 😁I don't have them very often but when I do that's how I like them. They came out with a pretzel crust type and I am not to sure about those,never tried them. I have seen people toast them and then put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on them,I never did that but it looks good. Hugs from Lancaster,Pa.😘

I love pop tarts! Some I put in the toaster, some I eat room temp. Depends. Like cinnamon roll...I typically eat hot. But like the fruit ones or chocolate ones I eat straight out the package

When I was a kid I would eat them for breakfast. My mom wouldn’t by them all the time. As an adult I buy them once in a while for a snack. Strawberry will always be my favorite!

I turn my pop tarts into a ice cream sandwich I take one of the two pop tarts and cut in half then take a small scoop of vanilla ice cream then set in freezer for about an hour and enjoy

Pop tarts have so many different flavors that it’s hard to choose a favorite but I finally found one that I absolutely adore. It just came out about a month ago and it’s a pretzel pop tart. It comes in 2 different flavors, chocolate and my favorite cinnamon sugar.

They have Froot Loops flavored pop tarts now. I haven’t heard of the split one yet. I’ve had the Froot Loops ones and they taste just like the cereal

The cinnamon roll ones are my fave! When I went to Las Vegas (Canadian here) I lived on them. We don’t get the cool flavours here.

I'm from Tennessee and I grew up eating Pop Tarts! 😍 My favorites are Chocolate Chip, Brown Sugar Cinnamon and Frosted Strawberry...the S'mores ones are good too 😊 In the Fall they come out with Pumpkin Pie ones....those are amazing in the toaster! 😍 I eat them mostly for a snack but I have eaten them for breakfast before 😊

Thank you for this taste test of pop tarts. I’m not the biggest fan of them but I do like them occasionally. My all time fave is the chocolate fudge sundae but than a few months ago I tried the froot loops one and I loved those as well.

None of those flavors are the standard available. Blueberry, strawberry and the cherry - all frosted - are the main product line. And I like pop tarts best as morning snack or evening dessert. Try one warmed with ice cream.

Okay. When I was growing up in the 1970s, we only ever got these as a “treat”. And, the flavors were very basic...mostly fruit flavors. I loved them so much. Haven’t had one in at least 20 years so it’s nice to watch you try them. If I think about it, I can still remember how they tasted and smelled. ☺️

my kids like frozen yogurt or ice cream on top of a hot poptart. their favorite is apple brown sugar flavor(which I'm not sure it's still available) and blueberry.

I’m from NJ and I eat pop tarts a lot for breakfast because they’re fast and easy. My favorites are chocolate chip cookie dough, vanilla cupcake, raspberry, gingerbread (they come out in the wintertime), and strawberry. All heated. Strawberry milkshake is definitely better cold, and I’ve actually never heard of the vanilla milkshake!

Before I had to go gluten free I had pop tarts as both breakfast and a snack. They are all so good! I love them!

My favorite flavor was Pink Lemonade but it was limited edition quite a few years ago and they haven't brought it back. I also liked the Dunkin doughnuts latte flavored ones. My go to when I do get them is usually Fudge.

When I was a teenager I would have top tarts for breakfast before my mini bus took me to school was quicker than cereal get up shout mum put tart in toaster get washed dressed and go downstairs top tart not to hot to eat then wait out side for bus I went to a special needs school so we got picked up glad I did or I would have to get up way to early x

Hi Kate! Same teacher here! Poptarts are definitely a breakfast item for kids! Many adults still love them and eat them, including me, I love strawberry, however, it is a kids item. It was made for busy parents who do not have the time to make a full breakfast for their children.

Wildlicious were my favourite growing up and my brother like the smores ones. We only had 3 or 4 flavours growing up in Canada. I’ve not looked at them in ages so I’m not sure what we have now. Thanks for bringing me down memory lane. My parents would only allow them about once a year, but I remember having them.
