not many people can say they trained WITH Arnold but I did! (sort of) ... This was in the early 1980s ... He had not yet made "The Terminator" but he had done "Conan the Barbarian" and of course we all knew who he was by 'sight' ... Anyway, I'm a pipsqueak of a guy ... And I was at the gym on Ocean Blvd in Santa Monica CA ... I was doing lat pull downs and I look to my left and it was ARNOLD waiting for me to complete my sets ... So I jokingly said to him ... "OK, you can work out with me." ARNOLD replied (in a very jocular way) "NO! You can work out with ME!" ... p.s. I also voted for him for governor many years later

While Arnold definitely had the most impressive physique of his era and movie star good looks that alone wasn't what made him so special. He could walk into any room and immediately command everyone's attention with his outgoing personality which was so full of life and a sense of humor....it's called "charisma". No bodybuilders today have that combination---you watch one being interviewed today and they have a very boring personality with nothing much to talk about other than training. Take a lesson from this...if you guys want to attract the ladies definitely workout but then NEVER talk about bodybuilding with them; instead be successful with your education and career, and present your physique as just a small part of the total package. Women want a complete man, not just a body.

Okay there are so many wrong things about this comment but let me tackle the most wrong one. Workout for yourself. For your health and strength. Screw what women want. Always focus on what you want, as a Man, work for it and go get it. I'm not saying don't indulge in ladies. By all means, have fun but don't priortize them over anything. You come first Unless, you meet a woman - a special one who loves you and chooses to stay with you for eternity. But remember, that's extremely hard to come by and you need a lot of patience.

Almost every guy who doesn't have a woman wishes that he did, the most miserable men I know are those who ended up alone. Many men who end up staying single end up becoming alcoholics because it is the disease of loneliness and we weren't meant to live out our lives alone. But hey, if siting home alone and watching TV with your cat is your thing then by all means forget about making the acquisition of a good mate a priority. I have found that good things in life don't just happen, you have have to put in a lot of effort to make them happen and if you are just waiting for the right woman to knock on your door one day it isn't ever going to happen. You need to work at getting that woman just as hard as you work at anything else and the clock is ticking.

I trained at Muscle Beach too. Exercise and an active lifestyle are half of the equation. Start eating clean. Eat fruits, protein, lean meats, egg whites, no yolks. You would benefit from watching our Master Chef's cooking videos. Who wants to live longer? Learn more superfoods and recipes. 🍒🍗💪👀💪

As long as it is proportional, women do like more muscle mass and size, TO AN EXTEND, SUCH AS THE SIZE OF SCHWARZENEGGER. Bigger than that would not go well fer sexiness to opposite sex.

Found out he was in the movie the Terminator back in 1984. Mid movie When Reese was talking about how Terminators would disguise themselves to get in there base, but the humans would use dogs to spot them. That Terminator was Franco that came in and started shooting everybody.

I think the men were more interested in looking at him than the women. The amount of dedication needed to get to look that is something to be admired. From what I've heard and seen, a women would find a fit athlete such as a gymnast more physically appealing than a bodybuilder.

Well at that time, there was the muscle craze going on too, so Bodybuilders were in vogue and considered sex symbols by a lot of women. Plus you add Arnold's charismatic personality and good looks, and it is an irresistible combo for many women. I agree, women generally prefer the more athletic fit men and men actually admire these bodies more because of what you said above.

💥 5:23 Armold did compete in the 1977 Mr Olympia. He stopped in 1975 and Franco Columbo won in 1976 and Frank Zane won in 1977… Arnold returned once more in 1980 💪🏼🏆
