Hans is my man and Magnus also. But I think Hans had a lot sh#t on his head when he was accused for cheating, what he probably no did. He's just an to inconsistent player as GM, somethimes genius somethimes a 1800 level.

I fully agree. There's an American chess KZfaqr (let's not mention names) who is also good, but he tends to "spell out" the humour, which then pulls it down to the nursery level. Epic is unmatched when it comes to subtle, intellect-engaging humour.

I'm constantly asking myself questions like 1."with a billion Chess players, why isnt Magnus long since beaten" and 2."with a billion Chess players, all practicing online in a way he could not(while upcoming, ie 10-15 y.o) ,why isnt Magnus long since beaten" and 3."with a billion Chess players, All access to chess engines 3800+, why isnt Magnus long since beaten" I dont know. He must be really good.

Sometimes I pause the video to find the right moves, and I often find them... but then I realise after a few seconds that although it was the right move, I found it for the completely wrong reasons. Or maybe my subconscious is really good at chess but my conscious self is crap.

Generally speaking, Carlsen simply sees more potential from his pieces. As in locking away that knight, he doesn't need it at that time allowing him to employ his other pieces to various slight advantages. The computer said it was questionable but the computer doesn't have to contend with human focusing issues.

Why not at around 9:24 go knight F3, you create a fork, you lose a rook but take a free queen and free knight with pressure on A1 rook? Am I missing something (most likely yes)

was D3 not a viable winning move @ 7:30? If Q moves then Nxc2. If Queen doesn't move, then dxe2, Rxd7, Nxd7, Nxe2, Nxe5. Queen or Rook can't take dx3 either.
