Brandon Westgate's part in Stay Gold was fucking awesome. To people really paying attention, this was not much of a surprise-he's been killing it for about 6 years now. Brandon is usually the kind of person that people write about by saying "he lets his skating do the talking," and that really doesn't work for our purposes, so Patrick went up to Wareham and coaxed Brandon into talking about cranberry bogs, lawn mower parts, and dentists who trade Vicodins for BJs.

I love how he is similar to Malto in the sense that he wants to stay home where he is happy and comfortable instead of giving in to the "Cali" expectations.

Jesse Lindsay I was looking at that parking thinking it really wasn't anywhere near as bad as they made it sound. I'd you can really skate then you can get down on anything.

Shoutout to my aunt for taking me to a premiere of Stay Gold. I was only like 10 years old, with little interest in skating but seeing that video and the reactions from locals really got me passionate about it.

I don't see what's so bad about that area for skating. I like his park more than any of the ones near where I live. All we have are bowls. I'm not against bowls, but I don't understand why we can't have any variation.

I live very close to him and there is no spots really skating is not popular, really the ground and weather usually suck but you just get used to it.

Watching him skate makes me think he's a thrasher boy. Cracking bottles on his head, riding in a van all the time, getting hammered, then skates like a maniac. This guy is just an old man in a young guy's body, but the second he's on that board he unleashes a fucking beast !

He's so down to earth. I used to think all the dudes that partied and shit were so cool when I was a little kid watching Baker 2g and shit. But like Minor said, it's fucking awesome that he's so young and already has his shit figured out. He seems like the most normal, chill dude you'd ever know but he just fucking kills when he steps foot on a skateboard.
