I knew a guy who was so broken by his jw childhood. His parents told him when he was six that ppl outside of jw werent real people and they d go to hell. He became a very damaged person w addiction and a personality disorder. Its a cult and they exploit children to protect themselves.

My friend was once a follower of this sect, and she was very strict, almost forcing his teachings on me for the past two years. My friend kept insisting and showing that his way was the only path to truth and salvation. I had many debates with her about various topics, including blood, other Christian denominations, truth, and science. She even claimed that science supports the Bible. I often felt shaken and unable to argue effectively, reaching a point where I just wanted it all to end. In 2024, I managed to bring her down with something that seemingly got him disfellowshipped. (You might know what disfellowshipped means in JW) And I hope this makes her realize he should stop following what, in my personal opinion, is a cult.
