What’s the secret of teaching youngins to enjoy hunting? My 7yr old daughter and and I enjoy and have been watching since she could see and tell what a deer was....before Sarah was pregnant the first time and laughed at the otter stealing your fish at the RANCH! She is bored and loses interest when WE GO HUNTING TOGETHER and prefers her tablet as a sidearm but tracked an overnight Doe last year!

Everybody has different parts that they enjoy. One, sharpens the other. Jake is 8, almost 9. Last year he wasn’t nearly into it as he is this year. If she enjoys the tracking part, let her be a part of every trail! Let her be a part of the prep and set up... let her eat the meat. Eventually, her patience will be there and she’ll want to go. BUT, she may never enjoy the hunting part... enjoy it for what it is and I wish y’all the best of luck!!!

I’m such a girl!! I cried when Jake made that Bird!! I didn’t start shooting until I was 14 and my brother in law took me Turkey hunting in Illinois. It was awesome!! Congrats Jake! We are real proud of you over here in ARIZONA!!

I’ll definitely never forget my first hunting trip. We went after feral pigs still have the tusks and that was 35 years ago. Can’t wait to take my kids and continue the lifestyle. Congratulations little man.

This video is why I started following the channel, the emotion in Rob's eyes after his nephew shot his first turkey is what it's all about. Jake's reaction brought tears to my eyes, little man couldn't wait to get out of that blind. Absolutely love this channel, so glad I came across it while looking for hog hunting videos.

Big congrats to little man on that first bird. That first bite of his Bird had to be epic for him. Gabe and Rob I couldn't be happier for you guys. As a father and uncle out there with him I'm sure it was hard not to be a little choked up. I always feel emotional when I see good kids have those big first moments in their lives.

although i am vegan,, i do not see a problem with what you are doing. i love that you do not simply do this for fun, you do it to use the entire animal. you use it, eat it, etc, so this way nothing goes to waste. this is admirable and i love how it brings yall together. it is ethical because you kill them immediately. love this channel :)

Rob, it's awesome that y'all have Jake starting to hunt such a young age. My grandson is only sevenand we are taking him on his first deer hunt this year. It's awesome getting these kids hunting at such a young age so that I will know had to respect guns and the animals that they kill. Tell Jake I said congratulations

The best part of hunting,fishing is the bond and sharing experiences with family. I can remember harvesting my first tom with my dad and uncle and cant wait to pass down the tradition with my son or daughter when the good lord blesses me with one. Nothing like teaching them young, i remember my first time catching fish with my dad. That will be a very special moment for Jake. My boy killed his first deer at 9 years old. I nearly jumped out of the tree i was so excited. We stopped at a local gas station to brag a little and and a lady came out and chewed me out for having a little boy out there hunting murdering animals. that was almost 13 years ago. Today he is in college 5 states away making his own way paying for his own College being a man I like to think it has to do with the way we raised him keep up the good work Gabe. More good times are coming

This video is not just what it is all about, it is so much more. It is a medium into a world that must not be forgotten. The thrill of the hunt, respect of nature, responsibility that the soul of whatever creature does not die in vain and go to waste is what makes it pure and wholesome. And on top of that: instilling and mentoring the discipline, respect, and duty we all must have for nature and seeing this kid get so excited over what he accomplished, is the biggest part of so much more. That kid is incredibly blessed to have those men raising him, teaching him what he needs to know. I'd love to go hunting. The problem is no one in my family, no one I knew growing up, and no one I know now hunts. It's really difficult to learn from the internet and try to translate it into real life vs going hunting with a seasoned hunter that you're close with.

As a Japanese American, we had Kikkomann soy sauce every meal, even on our scrambled egss when we were young. We even named our barn cat Kikkomann. Since I am so Americanized now, soy sauce has been interchanged with Cholupa, Tabasco, Worcestershire, nam pla, Siracha.... joys of living in multicultural Silicon Valley. The stir fry meal looks like what mom used to cook for us as a kid.
