Brother.. You had me rolling with... "Always season both sides of your meat.. Because.. You don't want just one side seasoned meat." I came over to your channel from your collabs with Blue Gabe and I'm glad I did. I'm working on getting caught up on the past month or so of content. You seem like a solid guy and someone I'd definitely like to spend a day with on an adventure! Keep up the authenticity man!! Love the content!

My favorite two seasonings just happen to be Tonies and Dale's original, one is from Louisiana and the other is from B-Ham Alabama! I also recommend Leggs sausage seasoning, also an Alabama product! I love Tonies on foul and pork, Dale's on any red meat; the magic of Dale's is that it only takes 20-30 mins to get a spectacular result, soaking it for much longer will result in a very salty piece of meat! Dales is also a great jerky seasoning, just add 1/3 cup of Dale's to four lbs. of ground venison, mix well and shoot it on your tray's with a jerky cannon! I like to start with the bottom tray and sprinkle liberally with Cheyenne pepper, then I decide how many trays I'll save for my granddaughters who don't like it hot, I get mine and they get theirs!

Like your Camp there too! Ian, that occurs to me as part of what makes you so relatable & likeable to any decent person that watches your stuff! Pretty sure that we are not the only ones that grew up maybe not having alot, but the truely important smarts to make things work with what you have! Ain't a damn thing wrong with that Camper for $300 vs $30,000 new, & I'm sure you could can & will fix anything as need be! You know well as I, when you get the inclination to fix things up - you will make it 10x better, on the cheap! You got Beautiful digs there, as you have been so kind to share with us - but anyone with half a brain & awenaress knows that it sure don't come cheap! Yeah dude, so I got a kinda little boat, but it's perfect for me - & well, I'm too polite to laugh at your little boats. You should see what I work with!

Even though I’m a transplanted Yankee to FL (from NJ….not by choice! 😂), I grew up hunting and fishing, and my dad taught me to appreciate some of life’s more simple, but delicious, vittles. Liver pudding is delicious. Pennsylvania has scrapple, which is vaguely similar, but I never liked that one. Blood sausage is another similar one, and also delicious. But the best one of all (while only similar in ingredients but not texture/look) is head cheese/souse. I can eat that stuff every day and never get sick of it.

I miss turkey hunting! My best friend all through school taught me how to hunt turkey's and I was really good at too. I had numerous dryed fan's and a gallon size Ziploc bag full of beard's ranging from 10-3/4 to 11-3/4 and one that was mounted that was a triple beard. He got on hard drug's and ruined his life and I haven't been since. I could go again but it's not the same going by yourself.

Awesome camper for $300 .We went camping for vacation a couple of times when I was growing up, but the last time it poured down rain on our last day and we woke up in the middle of the night with our tent in a huge puddle of water , so that was the LAST time we went camping. Love it! "Puddin sounds about like "Spotted Dog" - as some southern guys I met referred to it (29cent potted meat)! Believe the original thang was "Scrapple" - made from just what it sounds like, with oats added to bind it & stretch it out. Most internet judgemental fools would not survive a day in the woods, soley on their own wits - never been hungry & had to make due with what little you had! Hell, probably totally lose their shit if their cell phone stopped working!

Mr. TugTrash I think if you love to cook, then cook and hunt and fish. If your hunt camp is close to the Charleston/Goose Creek, South Carolina area And I can accommodate you I would very much like to grill smoke cook for your entire family I would also enjoy the opportunity to go fish or hunt with you and learn from you. I will tell you I enjoy the outdoors. I grew up on a dairy farm in western New York and to me it doesn’t matter whether you come home with something or your limit of whatever you went after so long as you got to spend time in nature and remember to enjoy God‘s creation in all of God’s glory.

AND I WAS LOOKING ON THE FLOOR, IN THE DESK DRAWERS WERE I WAS SITTING AND WAS SAYING "THIS IS CRAZY I JUST HAD IT!!"
