This is the greatest. There's a pseudo-sequel called "No Thanxxx" which is also great. Mithra (the west coast dressed one) doesn't believe he's "trash" as such, but he's always had the reputation of being in Tablo's shadow the whole time and been thrown shade for not really deserving his spot. That's why there's a scene during his verse where he's in the background and Tablo is up front throwing up the peace sign.

Beenzino's in this too! So happy you got a lil sample, as well as to experience the legends that are Epik High!! Their first few albums are freaking amazing. The production alone. It's wild that their earlier albums (early 2000s) have such solid tracks reminiscent of old school hip hop sounds. It's so authentic that I constantly go back to it--notably Map of the human soul and Remapping the Human Soul. Really, all the albums from there until Pieces makes me emotional from its genius, but if you checked out at least one of those albums, you'd be enlightened and I'd be a happy girl. First was obviously Tablo, then Beenzino, Verbal Jint , BI (singing), Mithra Jin, Mino (he IS successful now, crazy. And actually Zico is his best friend and Zico is the leader of Block b), and then Bobby (from Ikon). Good stuff huh??? The word play!! And none other than dj tukutz scratching.

The third guy that rapped is Verbal Jint, he's actually the reason rap shifted so heavily in Korea back in the early 2000's. Before he debuted, rap/hip-hop was prevalent in Korea but it was messy. Not in the sense it sounded bad, but it wasn't structured the way western rap was and therefore it wasn't considered true rap. He came on the scene and brought with him a fundamental part of rap, the rhyming. He figured out a way to make rapping in Korean sound as fluid as it did in English as well as making the rhyming sound clean without it being forced. He's a pioneer within the Korean rap scene. He's extremely well-liked and respected just as Tablo is. I really truly suggest checking out more Verbal Jint and Epik High (also Tablo's solo work).

I really enjoy Epik High and the range of music they do. I like Tablo's lyrics a lot and how down to earth he is as a person. Their songs "One," "Umbrella," "1 Minute 1 Second," "Love Love Love," and "Run" still make regular appearances in my music rotation.

In order of appearance: DJ Tukutz, Tablo, Beenzino, Verbal Jint, BI, Mithra Jin, Mino, Bobby then BI again. Epik High is just Tablo, DJ Tukutz, and Mithra. Beenzino (whose gf is a model) and Verbal Jint are solo rappers. Bi, Mino, and Bobby are in groups from YG. I suggest Epik High - Dont Hate Me. It's a song made after a long break and the video is amusing. Also Epik High - Run. It's one of my favorite songs. Fun fact: Each person in the video is meant to represent one of the deadly sins.

Yay! You finally got to my second fav group Epic High! Thank you so much. The have a large discography as they have been together since 2003. Tablo is reported to have an IQ somewhere around 176...a literal genius. As you may remember I told you that Epic High were huge inspirations for BTS members-particularly RM and Suga. Two of my fav Epik High songs are Burj Khalifa- no mv-just lyric videos- and Maze. Also there is a song on their last album that is really sad called Lost One and Tablo said it was inspired by BTS and others like them who give up their childhoods and lives to persue a career as an idol. Suga also made a small surprise guest appearance on the last album as well. Also, their latest release is a single called Sleeping Beauty and it is a collab with Sekai No Owari (End of the World-Japanese group). It is different and not something I would think I would normally like but I actually love it and can't stop listening to it. I saw them in Atlanta in 2015 and they were amazing. You should also check out Table and Joey Bada$$'s collab called Hood-no mv but lyric video-Cave Me In which was. Collab with Tablo, Eric Nam and Gallant-it does have an mv, Fire Water by Code Kunst feat Tablo and G Doll-it has an mv, Flower by Xia feat Tablo, etc. Other artists I would recommend if you aren't familiar with them: Dumbfoundead, Code Kunst, and American rapper Aesop Rock (not ASAP Rocky), Yankie, BewhY, Masta Wu. They are so unbelievably talented. I love my rap line from BTS . They’ll always be my #1 but Bobby really is up there talent wise and coming from an idol group, his winning SMTM3 was monumental. Mino is from Winner and you already he’s FIRE. Can you React to one of my Faves: Flowsik. His name is Pak Dae sik or Jay Pak ( not to be confused with Jay Park). He was born in Queens, NY. He was apart of a Korean -American HipHop group ( with Eddie Shin and Nicky Lee) called Aziatix. They were signed to Cash Money for a little while until they disbanded. He was on SMTM season5, and tho he’s been in the game for a while he is only now working on his first album which he’s gearing more towards the Western Market. I love his style and his flow. I think you might too. People ship him with our Queen, Jessi but he says she’s his little sister ( she too was born in Queens but was raised in NJ, then moved to Korea at age 15). His Lives are awesome. He’s super positive but a few weeks back he did let some tea spill about some of the ways music works in South Korea. Basically it being a game of who you know rather than what you can do or what makes you unique. He also thinx there’s a bias towards Korean- American idols, especially when your not great at the language. He wrote a lot of the English lyrics for “Mic Drop” by BTS (of course)! He has two songs you should check out and there both with Jessi. “Wet” ( His usual style AND there’s a remix which dropped two weeks ago, where he does the second verse in English and is lyrically equivalent to😱) And “All I Need” (which came out in April and is a bit cuter than his usual style but still it is a really catchy bop)

Mino didn’t diss Block B, they’re his family/brothers and like he said he was supposed to debut with Block B. However, the entertainment label that was going to manage Block B later on showed their true colors. Mistreated their artists and basically took all their money, leaving the artists to have almost nothing. So I think Mino and his family was kind of hesitant and didn’t go through with it. Then after that he actually debuted with a ballad/hip hop group called BoM, but they failed to make any kind of noise or attention. So, they disbanded shortly after debuting which hit Mino really hard. So he basically had one more chance when he signed with YG and participated in WIN: WHO IS NEXT..which was YG’s survival show that will result in debuting his new boy group. Team A = WINNER and Team B = IKON. So in a way when he said the whole bit about 2018, he wasn’t joking at all. It’s ALL FACTS. WINNER is doing amazingly well and still compose amazing and fun music. Mino as well has been the most popular member of the group and still rising in popularity.
