Wow, i got screamed at for 'being on drugs' and booted out of the classroom. I literally dropped out of yr11 feeling ashamed of myself. If someone had just asked if I was OK I might have ended up finding some help from a doctor or something, rather than being a loner for another 15 years. That would have been so cool to be treated with some kindness and help. I can only imagine how good that would have felt for the guy. You can literally save a person from years of shame and existential turmoil by just assisting when they are in a trouble. These 2 people are Angels from heaven.

This was spot on. I hate them...because I'm conscious initially and my arms and legs will jolt simultaneously, then I zone out for a minute and then I finally relax and then I'm wiped out for the rest of the day. Lack of sleep or extreme stress can set them off...or missing a dose of my med.

I suffer with this. It starts off a mild limb shake in addition to a half-second loss of conscious, depending if I’m in a relaxed environment it can go away. Sadly if I’m somewhere in a crowd or uncomfortable it can turn into a full seizure.

This is exactly what I have- sometimes it’s just one and other times it’s around 4-5 times. I’ve been getting them since I was 12/13 and particularly happens when there’s a flashing light. I got diagnosed 3 days ago at age 18

This has happened to me several times in the last 4 years. I was diagnosed with vertigo, but I don't think vertigo causes muscle spasms/ body convulsions that I have. This is a very good example of what happens to me, so I think I need to be tested.

I started having myoclonic and frontal temporal seizures in the 8th grade. However, I wasn't diagnosed until I was 21yo. I barely knew my name most days and I existed in total fear an isolation for the majority of my teen age years. When I was finally diagnosed, my life changed completely. Finally, my sick brain no longer had control over me. I graduated from H.S., college. Got married and had a family. But I still have epilepsy, which I will not allow to rule my life. If you have epilepsy, get educated about the disorder, the medicines and other treatments out there that will allow you to have a somewhat normal life.

I’ve been experiencing a muscle spasms/jerking in my legs that last for 1-2 seconds since my tonic clonic seizure. I’m currently getting in the process of discharged from the Army.
