The biggest safety issue about self-driving big trucks is the number of people it could put out of business or work.

As I am building my channel I am with what I know ... AI. I am getting my PhD in AI and this hits home since I was an accredited federal DOT inspector and had my CDL back in the 90s. I think you are on to some solid points, but it will not take all the jobs overnight, but rather eat away at the dock jobs and then come for the short haul routes that are 'routine' steadily reducing the number of total jobs available while pushing current licensed drivers into a smaller and smaller labor market. When supply goes up, wages go down. Curious your opinion on that point since KZfaq has very few experienced voices on this topic.
