I've had an Afghan. He was a great dog. Extra points to mention: They have explosive jumping power and love to sit on top of a table or even a shed and look around. They can stop at full speed and turn 180° and accelerate to full speed again in the blink of an eye. My (black and tan) dog had no problem being outside at 30°C but loved being outside for hours when it was freezing cold. He was even a good guard dog.

I've had a sloughi. Not saluki, but sloughi. They're really rare. I was the only person in whole Norway that had one at that point. I loved that dog more than anything else. It was such an incredible hound. It showed so much love and loyalty. Now I'm sad....🥲
