As a side note on operations: They can't be performed directly on the Import table. They have to be done on the staging table or any of the target tables.

@ 12:30 this is something that Transforms are able to do today without code. I've avoided using this functionality so far as it seems convoluted, especially when trying to understand what is already in place as part of plugin installations etc. but its becoming more and more common so i guess i need to get my head around it

Hi, Thank you for this Video. Is there anyway we can use IRE functionality in Robust Transform Map? Please let me know your thoughts on this.

@Göran Lundqvist Hello Sir, Nice information on RTE. I have a question about the temp table you created. I see we have Robust Transform Engine Entity Operations in the import set as well. But why do we need to create all the logic in the temp table when we can directly use the operations in import set. Is there any purpose/advantage for creating this extra step?

thanks for the video Göran out of interest, how are you showing the table names next to labels everywhere on forms and lists?? e.g. Run business rules | run_business_rules, is that a display setting somewhere?

This is a browser plugin that does this. I believe it's SN Utils

Hi Goran Could you please explain how to access the variables in 'Robust Transform Engine Entity Mapping '? input.field_name is giving me 'undefined' value. Thanks!

Hey Blahness, you have to add the path of the table in me middle "input.table_path.field_name". I am working on a document that will explain all these details with a large example. Will share it with you once it's published.

@@gameto Hi Daniel! Thanks a lot for your reply! That worked just fine for me. Looking forward to the documentation. Also, is there any way we can check if the action is an update? Like we have in transform maps, where we can check if(action=='update') > Is there something similar in Robust Transform map as well ?

This is very helpful. Could you use two or three LDAP OU Import tables as sources into an Robust Transform load?

Hi ServiceNow witchdoc, I was having a bad experience with fetching the target record values on the target tables to perform validations based on them. For this, I had to go back to the multiple import set scenario. Can u please help how this can be achieved. For example, if the target Field value is X, do not transform the data.

Hi Sajan, I was looking into this for another friend, but PTO came along and I wasn't done. In my eyes this should be done in the scripting field, but I couldn't get it to work and might have ran into a bug. I will more into this when I get back and if I manage to get it to work, I'll make a video about it

Thought it might be useful (whilst ServiceNow sort this out in the product itself) to point out that there is a helpful add in on Share to add 2 UI Actions to perform the auto-mapping. developer.servicenow.com/connect.do#!/share/contents/6185409_robust_transform_engine_utilities?t=PRODUCT_DETAILS
