Hi, This is the first video of yours that I've seen. Found it in the free pattern for the scarf you showed early in the video. And, I found the pattern link on Ravelry. I first loved the look of the scarf and the pattern being free was a big bonus. Thank you so much for that, btw. I really appreciate your tool recommendations too. I had no real idea what blocking wires were or how to use them. And, I've been wondering about sock blockers too. You really cleared up my biggest questions about those too. Thank you again! To date, I've only got one pair of socks under my belt but, they weren't blocked. It didn't keep me from wearing the heck out of them though. Anyway, between the interesting pattern (that also had me learning 💜 a new cast on & bind off) and the video, I had to hit that subscribe button and the bell too. 🥰 I know you have more for me to learn, thank you again. 💜✌️🧶

I like the style of blocking wires you showed. I have some that come wound in a tin. When you unfurl them, it can be dangerous if you don’t control the ends. They work great and I have two tins with two sizes. They are great for shawls. The knitter’s pride pins were a game changer for me when I bought them. I have three sets now that I have acquired over time. The knit picks brand and knitter’s pride brands are great for blocking accessories.

I never even thought about the coiled ones being hazardous to your health, but it makes sense! I love my knitters pride pin set - they are truly awesome!

I have those exact same blocking mats and they’re great - so much better than my towel/ trash bag method I had been using. (I’m also wearing my Oak Creek Cardigan as I’m watching this, and it’s so cozy!)
