Did anyone else mimic the box art and have the driver able to operate the vehicle while peering out the top? Slaughter’s even got little controls to grasp! 🤔

Another great episode, gents! We did not use this as water-based vehicle. Like you, it was a front line vehicle. The placement and size of the rockets on top made us imagine that they were anti-aircraft missiles (like the commercial). As an adult, I now wonder if they are something bigger and longer range...maybe bunker busters that can be fired from miles away.

My cousin had the Warthog. We used it as a tank. It never touched water, which is such a shame, since you know, we grew up near the beach. If I only knew then what I know now.

The Warthog is one of my all time favorite Joe vehicles, and also one of the inspirations for my fandom of pro wrestling. It’s just an all around solid vehicle. It’s an amphibious APC, which is close enough to a tank with the missiles that the Joes just piled into and had adventures. It’s a multipurpose vehicle. Floats, can be used as a command post, your dudes are snug in it when it’s buttoned down, and it can hit decent ranges with its two stage missiles. It can carry nine people inside and I think a couple outside. Just an all around workhorse that in hindsight would have best served as part of Slaughter’s Marauders or the Renegades, but mine was full of whatever strike team my eight year old brain invented by buying all the ‘cool’ guys. Well done as always.

I have 2 of the night rhinos. To give you guys a little heads up, parris island south Carolina is the Marine Corp training base on the east coast. The vehicle is also a marine Corp vehicle. They are not using it for beach landings beach they have had some problems with the vehicle sinking. They are in the process of testing a new vehicle that will not have any of the sinking problems.

Great show gentlemen. I am also a huge fan of the Warthog though I was too old to really play with it as a kid. I did take mine out in the ocean for a video and it floated flawlessly. To me it's one of the best vehicles because it's like a tank and a ship and can also carry so many figures. Thanks for featuring its appearance in the comic. I never read that so had to look it up. I'm surprised that the warthog use in the comic didn't take advantage of it's amphibious landing capabilities. I think Hama would sometimes take the easy way out and turn battles into cinematic "car chases" :)

Never had this as a kid.but I found it in a junk store in box minus sgt slaughter when I was first really getting into collecting joes.12 years later it’s still a favorite part of my collection

The Warthog is based on the AVV-7 what is great since I love vehicles based on a real version. It's a great IFV, but I don't see the missels working with the vehicle.

I got two of the og Warthogs, had 1 of them as a child and loved the troop carrying abilities and slinging it in the mud 😃 getting down and dirty. I bought the 2000's Warthog but its still new in the box. Maybe someday it'll see the light! 😅😂 I think a Slaughters Marauders version would be best for this but with my luck...Hasbro would make it Sky Patrol 😂🤣😂🤣....Burg!

0:50:05. Didn't they make a Night Force Warthog? 0:58:23. Well, between this, the Triple T, and the Marauders vehicles...he can't be everywhere at once. If you was deploying all those vehicles, which vehicle would you put him in? I am going to have to put him in the Triple T, but maybe that's just me.

I won't attempt to spell or type it... but if Gnawgahyde is South African, I say "Clyde's" name should be changed to "warthog" in Afrikaans. And I think the '88 Sarge is missing a paint app too. It looks like his neck/upper torso should be flesh-colored.
