Hang in there with the weight loss journey! After I turned 50, it's been so hard to lose even a pound! Love watching you, and I would also love to be driving down the road sewing a fraktur or a sampler!

I audibly gasp every time you show Lady of the Flag. Your stitching is so gorgeous. I am so happy you get to stitch that piece. I'm doing an abbreviated WIPGO type thing with my quilt WIP's. Working on 1 is ambitious enough, there's no way I'm getting to 2. I'm just going to use a wheel for them. I love the Celtic patterns, the Butternut Road and Celtic Spring.

Hang in there with the losing weight. I have been heavy all my life ( 73 years), and my Dr told me to lose at least 20 lbs before he would do my knee replacement last year. I lost that, and since then have lost 40 MORE. I had my total knee replacement last Dec 19th. YOU CAN DO IT. Love your stitching ! Celebrate, Embroidery, Alphabet, Refuge.

Your temperature chart tree is so pretty! I’m with you about birds. I’m 70 and noticed the last year I’ve really been drawn to birds. I have a kit of Tilda fabrics for a parrot quilt. Haven’t started it yet.

Great video. Beautiful work as usual. Hannah’s Brownstone is so pretty. Your comment about liking birds more when older is so true. My parents would discuss their bird-filled yard endlessly. Though not much interested then, I love my birds now and particularly love stitching birds. I don’t know when it changed. I suppose in the same way how achy joints slowly creep in. I struggle with WIPGO being a monogamous stitcher. I overwhelmed myself with starting and finishing the projects each month. However I am a huge planner and love the concept. I am thinking of creating a board with the small blackbird stockings. I should be able to handle that. I appreciate the effort you put into getting your videos out to us. Stitching while watching you bring me so much peace.

I found early on that I can't work on too many things at once. Not finishing brought me more stress than joy. We all have our own journey. I'm sure you will settle into a routine that works best for you. I'm amazed at how much you accomplish with working full time. Celebrate your work as it is very beautiful. Nancy I hope you get some Peace from your knee soon. My mother-in-law is recovering from her knee replacement now at our house. When that heals, she is going to get the second one done. I am with you on the "back to healthy eating" starting tomorrow. Right now we are just getting ready for back to work and school. Of course our 13 year old son put off one of his science project segments until the last minute and is working hard to complete it (more so that he doesn't lose game time). Take care! ☮

Thank you for the video. On the hawkrun hallow piece you don't need to back stitch you just add a single strand to the back and bring it up over the existing thread and back down in the same hole and do it every so often and it will hold the loose strands in place. It is called couching. Mary Rose gives a good video on it.

I'm planning on taking my LOTF out in January and give it a lot of attention. 2024 will be the year of the WIPS for me.

Enjoyed seeing your projects. If you have an iphone and a windows computer, you can plug your phone into your computer with a usb/charging cord and just copy and past the video file from your phone to your computer without having to upload to Google drive.

My temperature chart is stitched to mid april. My WIPCO lasted until March then went by waste basket. Now that I am retired I don't wanna feel obligated to get something done by certain time. (Too many deadlines in previous work).
