@@MidwestDIY They havent destroyed a single S300 system but only parts of the system. Either launcher (heavely damaged) controllstation or the radar, not an ENTIRE system. All these "destroyed" subsystems are easy to replace and damaged systems can be repared. You clearly has No knowledge about these systems

@@MidwestDIY clearly a single missile did not destroy an entire s300 system costing 115 million dollars, unless it was nuclear. Russia has very capable missile technology, it is quite obvious and has been shown time and time again. They have the best aa systems in the world, there is no competitors. The closest systems are from America like the patriot, which has had a lot of its own issues, is way more expensive and on paper much less capable. There are a lot of factors that go into play, one of them is the fact that it is not wartime and these systems are not on high alert.

Why this system was humiliated in both Syria and Lybia by Turkish drones then ? I do respect Russian weapons and Engineering a lot but i really can't find an explaintion why it failed badly in actual combat .

@@82boulou it's not human, it cannot be humiliated, it's so effective and capable that adversaries concentrate a lot of resources against this machine and make a big deal out of it.

@@Daniel-jg8ff I have nothing against the system or Russian weapons and I'm not an expert on weapons but this system was reportedly eliminated twice by the air force of two different countries Turkey and Israel in that matter . maybe it was lack of training by the operators or the fact that this system cannot operate on it's own and must be integrated in multi layer air defence umbrella .

dude, we've seen pantsirs being hit while their radars are active but not firing at all.. we ve heard and seen s-300, s-200 radars being hit by drones while they were active in Karabakh.. so then.. in that case export versions are useless against light armed drones. i donno if that is because of tactical utilization of the drones overwhelming them batteries.. or they are simply incapable of picking up drones that size? then just don't buy export versions of russian equipment, it will be a waste of your money? buy something else? we've withnessed this over and over again in history.. russian equipment utilized by 3rd world countries, sent back to junkyard being unable to shoot back against western equipment utilized by better trained armies. they are only good if the opposition's mostly guerillas or irregulars.. or if they have similar russian equipment.

Secondly: Third world countries has never used any weaponsystems used by Sovietunion or any other warsawpactcountry. All of these old weaponsystems has been old downgraded exportsystems plus they have Always encountered western systems that are 10-30 years more modern

@@Daniel-jg8ffthen you did not understand what i said.. whether they were inactive-active, they were ineffective, were worth as tumbling junk. pantsirs, tor systems were released in 2010s fairly modern, not 30 yaers old. they were developed in the same era with UCAVs and their extensive usage. They were advertised as an answer to UCAVs and they failed. From now on people won't buying those "export versions" as much.

Plus that those S1:s are also downgraded exportversions with less capable radar and firecontrollsystems

The S1 was the first version then the S1E like the one in the beginning of the video it has a radar with two sides. Then the S2 and now the most modern is the SM and the export version S1M, they have new radars and missiles, anti-drone missiles and they will get hypersonic missiles later.

You can literally tell from the operators footage, that the operator is missing the drone on purpose the first time. Compared to the Second time, where he just let the radar track the drone and then shoots.

Pantsir is not some ultimate weapon, it is defense system which work in cooperation with other and deal with own targets. Who filmed video from your link? Heavy drones from large altitude? How it possibly? It means that skies are opened and not defended. Is it fail of Pantsir, or it just mean that country have no radars which controls skies and another complexes which can deal with aircraft on such altitudes? It is targets outside of Pansir range. Look how organized air defense in Russia: it is multilayered defense from bunch of misc radars and complexes, which work in united system. It is only way how it works. For each kind of target is own kind of radars and own weapons. What can attack S-400, can’t attack Pansir. What can attack Pantsir, can’t attack S-400. And so on, there are bunch of more weapons. It is like to say, that tanks are crap because with easy destroyed by bombers. You said exactly the same stupid thing. And about video: where you see S2? In video zero of S2 and even zero of S1. Syria have only S1E (E means ‘export’). Libya got bunch of Pantsir from UAE, it is also S1E (moreover, in Libya there are no at all people which can operate Pansir). S-xx have a long good history, as example they perfectly eliminated American aviation during war in Vietnam, or how literally ancient S-125 (from 1961) shot down modern American so-called stealth F-117 in Serbia.

Putin has said that NATO and the US are the biggest militaries in the world and that he wishes he did not have to spend so much on defense he says that his people need hospitals, schools, housing but that the US won't stop knocking on their borthers. That is why weopens are different they have different missions that is why no aircraft carriers one they are to expensive and second they don't have a mission for them they are not defensive weopens.
