Hey Steve, great video. I need to first say that These Thunderbirds are notorious for falling into reverse by themselves due to the design of the steering column and shift linkage. You should NEVER EVER start the car or leave the car without first sliding the steering column to the right and setting the E-brake. Just sayin'. Its interesting that the car has cruise control but roll up windows and no air. Most are the other way around since cruise is very rare. AC doesnt really do much for the value of these cars, they are not worth that much to begin with. For the run of the mill Thunderbird, condition and whether or not they are a convertible is far more important. It sounds like it runs very nice. Nice car, thanks for the video.

Thank you. It was a great fun car. We enjoyed getting it to a point where a new owner could decide on its eventual finish. And, as ever, no sooner had we posted the video, had we received a number of offers for the car. It sold almost instantly. I hope the new owners are having fun with it.

It was age of components mostly. Corroded connections on relays; pitting on hydraulic rams; all of that stuff.
