Last year Epson began shipping the all-new, totally redesigned SureColor P8570D production aqueous printer. This much anticipated high speed 6 color printer has been in the market for about 8 months now and has impressed with its quality, reduced ink usage, and production capabilities. Now Epson has birthed 3 little brothers to the SureColor P8570D, and one twin brother that has the same DNA but just works a little harder. Too far? Wow, thanks for sharing the nuances between the models. Not needing access to the back of the printer really helps with the floor configuration and allows for better space utilization.

Perfect timing! Watch for our video coming out next week: ""Upgrading your Epson P6000, P7000, P8000 or P9000? How To Choose Your New Printer"". It will go through all the differences. The three biggest printing factors you'll notice between the P6000 and P6570 are build aesthetics, color gradient/monochrome printing ability, and print speeds. The P6000 has a 9 color inkset with Photo Black, Matte Black, Cyan, Magenta, Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Light Black, Light Light Black. This gives the P6000 the edge on accurate color gradients and superior monochrome printing capability. The P6570 is a 5 color printer with a CMYK and Gray inkset. Print Speed: The P6000 has a PrecisionCore TFP Printhead that has 1,440 nozzles and is smaller in width meaning slower print speeds. The P6570 has Epson's latest PrecisionCore MicroTFP 6-Channel Printhead which features a wider head width and 9,600 nozzles for faster printing speeds giving the P6570 the edge on print speeds. The build on both models is much different, if space is a concern, the P6570's sleek and compact design makes it the most space-efficient unit of the two.
