This is a classic episode of the "Natural Balance Hoof Care Corner" featured on the Dennis Reis Horsemanship show in the mid 2000's. I have a horse that didn’t have ‘long toes’ - he still developed ringbone. I think there’s alot more to it. Chopping horses toes off creates problems in itself. Metal shoes are probably responsible. Shoes and too much work. That horse looks like it doesn’t want to flex its hocks at all. It wouldn’t surprise me if the horse had hock arthritis.

pity the trimming of the toes is missing in the videos

He had shoes on couldn't wear down,they were left on long time,no need to draw lines to see that.brrakover 2as terrible,coffin is negative,we did this!
