Those rail cars are strangely clean

I used to have a pirated version of train sim world. But that was the old version and there wasn't much in it so last Sunday I got the official 2020 version and I am loving it.

I have this game on PS4, it's ok. It's fun for a very short time. After you play through the scenarios a few times and get the gold medal, it's no longer fun. I'm not going to keep playing the same scenario doing the exact same things with the exact same result over and over. Service Mode is no different, it's still scenario based. The only way this developer can add longevity to the game is by constantly releasing DLC. Perfect business model. Im not constantly paying for DLC to keep my interest. This game seriously needs a real sandbox mode where you can hop in a locomotive and do as you please. Interactive buildings on the map that let you hook up a consist of hoppers and fill them up with grain at a silo on one side of the map, then go deliver that grain to a bakery plant on the other side of the map. Or pick up coal at a coal mine and deliver it to a power plant somewhere else. Pick up logs in the forest and deliver them to a saw mill that turns it into lumber, then take that lumber to a furniture factory. There are endless supply and demand things you could do, just put the resources and the corresponding rail cars on the map and let people have fun doing their own thing. Get rid of the limited play scenario BS!! This game has so much potential of being the greatest. Graphics are amazing, the realism of train operation is amazing, but it's held back by the lack of freedom of play. It's too scripted and forced. After you do a scenario a few times, you're bored out of your mind and done with it. It's a shame. I'm not investing any additional money into this game. If every DLC had its own true sandbox mode as I described, I'd throw money at this developer because every DLC would be endless fun. Other train sim games have the sandbox mode I described, no reason this game can't.

Man the horn is really disappointing on this train. Literally the most overused train horn in train simulator history
