​@@hikka8123 The tech for DPU is very specific and should not be confused for standard MU operations. It's been implemented as almost standard in new-build locomotives since the 90s when GE unveiled the Dash 9 and the AC4400CW. Since then locomotives commonly equipped with DPU technology are: -For the UP: SD9043MAC, SD70ACe, AC6000CW, C60/44AC, AC4400CW, some C40-8s, and ES44AC plus modern ET units (SD70Ms were never equipped for DPU operation) -For BNSF: SD70MAC, SD70ACe, ES44AC, ES44DC, C44-9W, and AC4400CW plus modern ET units CSX and NS did not embrace DPU technology as they operated mostly in flat territory and any hilly or mountain territory was short enough that they'd just use manned helpers (and as it turns out the CSX AC4400CW does *NOT* come equipped with DPU tech so none of these locos should be running like this in TSW). They purchased their locomotives with the DPU tech package removed. It's only been in the last few years that DPU has begun to crop up on these 2 Class Is on their new-build locomotives. Just about any loco is capable of using MU technology so long as there is an MU cable physically connected between locomotives. DPU is a type of computerized software that allows the driver of the lead loco to control multiple locomotive consists spread throughout the train to either shadow what the locomotive driver is doing, set up a fence so that each consist is working independent of each other (such as taking a heavy train over the crest of a hill - the lead consist can begin applying dynamic brakes while the rear units continue pushing to keep the slack bunched up and prevent the knuckle couplings from snapping), or isolate the units to stop them from pushing at all (such as if the power-to-weight ratio exceeds the limits in a specific territory). This requires on-board computers. This requires screens and buttons. This requires electronic air brakes instead of conventional air brakes. This requires a cab setup similar to the AC4400CW locos and newer models. This type of technology and computerized equipment with setup does not appear on older locomotives such as the SD40-2 and the GP38-2. Some older locos were equipped with an older version of DPU called Locotrol but the equipment for Locotrol was so bulky that the noses of the locomotives had to be elongated creating a "Snoot" nose, which also does not appear here. These older units, like I said before, have to be physically connected to a DPU equipped loco and set up as a slave to said loco in order to be used in remote mid- and rear-end operations (such as when UP does when they use SD70Ms in mid- and rear-end service - they connect the SD70M to an SD70ACe, AC4400CW, or ES44AC in order to control them properly from the lead unit). Look into it. You may be surprised what you find.

@@davidwhiting1761 In train sim world 2, they have us turn on banking com to get the rear unit working. What is that ? You sure the rear loco can't be radio controlled ?

Always turn on banking comm (it's one of the yellow buttons on the radio) above the horn lever. It should be the same for the AC4400 but the radio is above the control desk and there is another switch called "Distributed Power" you also have to flip.

Think had to do the passenger service first, then it opened the wider menu to to CSX goods haulage

i bought the game and what a disappointment. The only difference is livery maker and scenario creator, the new menu and the new hud other than that nothing else. It's pretty unstable on my pc too with crashes here and there

Be more specific, what exact graphics card is it and at what screen resolution. Looking at that it seems ok for medium settings with some low.

ZAMEERUDIN z Yeah, it should be fine. High settings should actually do about 30 FPS. But if you want more then you can lower your settings. The CPU is fine with the GPU.
