Summary - A Carby AU. I gave these two a wedding. In the process we also see their slow burn romance and their ups in downs.
PS. These two is one of my favorite parings in I wish they had a better outcome as a couple. But atleast they still kept their friendship in the end. In I still think they would of happen if Noah didn't leave the show. I'm sticking to it. lol

Carter and Abby just couldn't hold a candle to Luka and Abby. Great writing. We all yearn for love that transforms. We rarely get it.

They had a great bond and chemistry. I have never understood the reason why writers ruined everything, I know that Noah wanted to leave and then he came back but they were meant to be, faboulous tribute❤

Great video! They are my favorite relationship with Neela and Ray. They have such deep bond , they understood each other. If Noah didn't leave ,they would have been end game.

Thanks so much :) I agree on that. Noah leaving did switch the game. In I will have to do my re-watch on Neela and Ray. They kind of went under the radar for me. But from what I saw they was cute together.

Wells (writers) said carter and Abby were never going to be end game. They were a mess and Abby snd Luka were meant to be end game from the start. Carby fans still refuse to look at the truth of why carby never worked. All carter cared about was molding Abby into the person he felt was good enough for him. That’s not love. She never loved carter. All he was a sponsor with benefits to her. Luka and Abby connected on a larger deeper level and he loved her flaws and all. Even Noah wasn’t fond of the carby relationship he said It was a mess and Maura and goran threw themselves into the love story of Abby snd Luka and the chemistry of Luby was Far more powerful than carby ever was.

I am currently rewatching ER and I ship Carby SO much. I also enjoy their deep friendship ins S11 when he pays her tuition and she comforts him and kisses him on the head when he loses his son. I remember I loved Luby too (not there yet on my rewatch), but Carby is just makes my heart smile all through the series. Anything with Abby is the best anyways on ER - haha.

Love this!! They’re STILL endgame in my head. Please make more Abby and Carter videos as you do such a great job with them in picking the right songs and choosing the best of their scenes!

OK you almost had me convinced here. You're too good at this. You know I don't even ship them! Watching this makes me think it was just too dangerous for someone like Abby to fall in love with her best friend. Which is what Carter became, over time. She could never just let herself GO. I know what it's like to hold yourself back from the best thing that ever happened to you.

True. I was thinking Susan could of been a OK fit. Or someone with a similar personality. Mainly because she was free spirited. Abby drama can sometimes consume you. In I think Carter needed some positive energy around him.

@@Moviechick801 Honestly...I think one thing the show tried to sell us that I just wasn't buying was that Carter/Noah & Susan/Sherry DIDN'T have fantastic chemistry. They were always flirting, and their banter was the stuff of old school screwball comedies. I can't believe he didn't take her home and ravish her silly, lol. Maybe they both idealized each other somewhat since the early days of their mutual crush and were afraid to cross that line? I really like this music, from a band I've never heard of. It's like Bon Iver crossbred with late-2000s alt-pop. I'm old and out of touch now but I used to keep up, haha

@@presentfuture7563 Susan/Carter had fun together. Both was attracted to each other. So im shock a kiss didn't sneak in at some point. I Also saw Susan and Greene as just friends. The mainstream music right now sucks. lol I usually search on youtube at night for independent artist. Alot of the ones I run into have way more talent then the ones we are spooned feed these days. I guess it's all about the flash now.

@@Moviechick801 They did eventually - I guess you know that, it's in your Susan/Carter vid - but I'm amazed it didn't lead to a whole lot more! I don't even know what "the kids" are listening to these days, lol. After seeing recent SNLs with Jack White and The Strokes I went back and binged all my favorite 00s garage rock bands.

@@presentfuture7563 She left the show to early. I think by time she came back they just didn't know what to do with her characters. She kinda just bounced around. I dont even think the kids know what they're listening to themselves. lol I was listening to The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony. KInda brings me back.
