i think they could of let it happen when she came back to the show. she was fun and free spirted. I believe carter needed that after everything that happen since the stabbing.

@@Moviechick801 they should rewrite the scripts. Noah was telling that it was a great script, but sadly not for as, fans of this couple.

@@Moviechick801 as for me, they destroyed those characters.. Carter deserved better. The better is obviously Susan, and this romance with Abby was not needed. As much as it wasn't real love, only that Carter wanted to cure Abby, that's all.. pathetic... To leave Susan, just like that, is a huuuuge mistake!

Their ending specially Carter was so open. Did he ever Call? Was him running back to the ER permanent? Never Know. Kem my issue with her was she strung him along for years. I get the tragedy, but let him go if you cant look at his face no more. She treated him like a constant reminder of the lost of the baby. In then kept giving him hope.

@@Moviechick801 what I hated was how she was pushed as this "pure perfect love" Carter found somewhere else but didn't have the depth of everyone else he was around with beyond "oh well she works so hard for the sick people there", but in practice it came off as just another of his hookups that somehow was overblown at the same time Carter was being treated as a Gary Stu in S10. At least in S15 it all seemed like he was content back home in Chicago, tacitly telling us he was better off home.

@@bluebirdsigma yeah I get that too. Maybe things would of been different if Noah wasn't getting ready to leave. But I think he should of just been single over there in Africa. Maybe find himself. Alot of people say it felt rushed and forced.

Thanks so much :) I agree on that. Noah leaving did switch the game. In I will have to do my re-watch on Neela and Ray. They kind of went under the radar for me. But from what I saw they was cute together.

Wells (writers) said carter and Abby were never going to be end game. They were a mess and Abby snd Luka were meant to be end game from the start. Carby fans still refuse to look at the truth of why carby never worked. All carter cared about was molding Abby into the person he felt was good enough for him. That’s not love. She never loved carter. All he was a sponsor with benefits to her. Luka and Abby connected on a larger deeper level and he loved her flaws and all. Even Noah wasn’t fond of the carby relationship he said It was a mess and Maura and goran threw themselves into the love story of Abby snd Luka and the chemistry of Luby was Far more powerful than carby ever was.
