Dr. Erhard Seiler has published over 130 scientific articles and is the author of a monograph on gauge field of theories which has been translated into various languages. He is an editor and co-author of two collections of essays on fundamental physics, and was appointed by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia to investigate the safety of their nuclear installations. Dr. Seiler has also co-authored the resulting critical review which discovered the possibility of larger power excursions in pebble bed reactors.
Dr. Seiler has a doctorate in physics from Technische Hochschule München. His postdoctoral fellowships brought him to the Max-Planck-Institut für Physik in Munich, the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton N.J., and Harvard University. Lastly, since 1979 Dr. Seiler has been a permanent research staff member Max-Planck-Institut für Physik.
