Thank you so much, Mike (and Robert too!). This is one of the songs that attracted me to Clapton's style of guitar playing. And then there are deaf people who call him overrated!
@rick00770
Yea, my favorite live version. What a great band too. Great solo.
@cjbuk74
Just got back from seeing Clapton in Newcastle tonight… it’s hard to believe the guy is 79… still a class act!! But no Layla!! 🤯

That From the Cradle/Journeyman era is my favorite - even over Cream.
@magellan333
One of the most iconic solos, you can really tell by looking on band members how much they enjoy that!
@Ellio1862
Saw him play for the first time over here in Newcastle.
@philjones8693
It's a stunning version of the Little Wing solo. Thanks for covering that! EC's fills during the vocal section are something special too.
@marcvansummeren86
Great lesson. Greetings from the Netherlands
@riffdigger2133
Great choice. For a killer solo, get up in the higher register and Clapton does it masterfully. And on a Strat it sounds like nothing else. Thanks, Mike!
@guitarbygus
There’s a John Mayer / dead and company song / grateful dead song where he does a jaw dropping solo, into little wing and back to the song. Might be one of the tasties solos ever.
@marcelvanderlugt289
Indeed a killer

ngl I always preferred dominos version of this tune.
