Eric Geboers nickname The Kid, he was the first to win the motocross world title in all three classes, 125 class, 250 class and 500 class; in total in his career, he has won five world titles

Yes, he was an idol growing up as a teen, like many of the other European mx champion's from Belgium during the 70's, 80's. Also, the other competitive one's. Godbless, Godspeed.

Un'altro video ben curato! Vedere adesso le piste di quei tempi fa sorridere come erano tenute...male! I Piloti che guidavano quelle 500 2 tempi avevano un'intera pelliccia sullo stomaco! Ho avuto il piacere di conoscere e scambiare due parole con entrambi i fratelli Geboers, gentilissimi e alla mano anche con chi in moto non era di certo un fenomeno... 😇 Riposa in pace piccolo grande Eric. 😔

Sempre stato il mio idolo,e se non si fosse ritirato così presto chissà quanti mondiali avrebbe vinto,ventotto anni nel cross sono il buono della carriera! Mitico "the kid",morto per salvare il suo amato cane,dopo il dramma del tifoso investito e morto.. un idolo!
