edited to add Thanks everyone for watching!!! This was actually my first Jeric edit so I'm sorry the quality isn't the best but I'm glad other people can't let them go either! ;)

It blows my mind how naturally they all stepped back into their character. We have all seen the reboots of other shows where the vibe is not successfully recaptured, the characters feel forced or the actors took a bit to refind the character they once played. But this show.. they did it. It was as if they never stopped playing these parts.

@@AliceHobbes so nostalgic would have been better lol. Ya that’s too bad. I really liked the first few episodes. Wish it could have gone on, having his daughter become a big Phillies fan. I think it would be funny, if she got more into the games then her own dad, and she was an awesome athlete or something when her dad was a fan, but more of a nerd than an athlete. I wish they would have got more into it like that

@@amonrodriguez3518 she is a fan of Mami Heat. So NBA fan. Yeah she is more of dorkie than nerdie. I just wish they made her not to have the love interest towards the end and have to go on journeyto find true love. That way she would have different from her parents who were meant to be.

Ill never stop being mad at this show for not directly canonizing Jeric, he just said indirectly that letting Eric go was the worst thing he ever did and they make Eric just DIP like hello?! THE CHEMISTRY THEY HAVE SHOULD NOT BE WASTED. Its still there 20 years later like come ON.

RIGHT?! Through the whole scene in the cafe their romantic chemistry is off the charts. They wasted it! They could've had them both come back together in the last season at some point/the finale when everyone else was gathered and just hinted at them living together again if they didn't want to say anything directly about a relationship (🙄). Ugh!! Frustrating for sure.

I absolutely agree! He should've been in the GMW finale, he was a big part of the show. Maybe Matthew had scheduling conflicts... Still sad we didn't get to see him one more time! Would've been fun if they had him on and made mention of him and Eric being roommates again, too! (Or married! 😉😊)

I was sad too because I grew up on the Boy meets world reruns. So I was really excited to see a continuation of the show. Unfortunately, Disney channel only allowed their shows to have a certain amount of seasons at the time. The Disney channel also couldn’t allow Girl Meets World to handle certain topics on the show like the original show did ( sex , alcohol , abuse, etc)

I was so skeptical about the show! I put off watching it for a while because I thought for sure it would kill all that was good about Boy Meets World by giving it that Disney vibe. Then I tuned in and was impressed that they rebooted it so well, only to have it then canceled. And it didn't give me that Disney Vibe at all. Sometimes the two main girls reminded me a bit of Carly and Sam on I-Carly (the two friends even have a similar look), but they managed to hold their own. The final episode was well executed at least.

Honestly, i think he was challenged with the desire to be taken seriously with the adult part of who he is. Ppl who saw him as the kid actor just want to talk about the show n watch him play an idiot kid trying to learn about the world. I think he didnt know how to navigate these two (seemingly ) opposing paradigms.

the storylines in GMW were really bizarre and weren't really realistic for the characters. Huge fan of Boy Meets World but GMW didn't really click with me.

He wasn't in S5, even for some of s6, but man, did they do his character wrong in s7. So unfortunate. I like to think that after the GMW ep he had a long talk with Eric, and then with Shawn, and finally got his shit together.

@@silassstingy Yeah. Jack in season 7 was bad. The writers messed up turning him into a buff heart throb. Wearing tight shirts that showed his abs, pecks and biceps and that spiked hair. Dude?!. I'm glad his step Dad cut him off, teach him a lesson.

Yes, I wanted it to focus on Eric and Jack more than Riley's storyline, so I cut what wasn't important to me. 🤷‍♀️ I think I actually left more of the scenes in my other edit that does comparisons with the Seven The Hard Way, though that was my first edit and I kind of hate it now. lol
