I was with with you until you brought up social media. Your personal experience is fine but the moment you use social media as a world wide view is the minute you looking one sided because you saying (everyone hates us) but when a gay person say something rude it’s black gay men or other gay men speaking up for us, when a trans woman say something rude, it’s other trans ppl or other ppl in the LGBTQ+ community sticking up for us. When some other non black person say something negative about us, other races defend us , when black men ESPECIALLY say something bad about us, I most definitely see my actual black kings and brothers defend us so if you only see negative comments about black women and everyone agreeing with them, that’s just the community you put yourself in (real world AND IN SOCIAL MEDIA) and that’s the results you’re seeing. And also, I live in Florida(south) too and the most hate black women get is from black women themselves, I don’t like how you make it seem like we got nobody on our side and that we this sisterhood when black women also talk shit about other black women from hair, weight, body features, facial features and most definitely skin color

I’m not talking about random people on instagram. 2nd if you read my comment I said MOST not all but MOST and that’s my own experience and opinion. 3rd I am open to being friends to everyone no matter what there background but if I peep someone talking reckless they are done in my book. I have real friends and family that don’t stand for black women being mistreated as well. I don’t always come across these kind of hateful people like Erica Mena but when I do ( because I do socialize with people of different cultures and other groups of people) they give their opinions about black women and black men when something like this whole situation with Spice and Erica Mena or Chloe Bailey and Funky Dineva or Chris Brown and whatever Dark skin comments he makes or these podcasts like fresh and fit etc happens and it becomes a topic at work, social events and so on I hear what other people have to say in these environments. it just goes with some of my experiences living in central Florida (I’m from South Florida too by the way) and going to other countries I have some experiences seeing and hearing what others people really think about black women and black men too. And I’m not blind to the fact that because of my appearance ( I’m light brown skin with long loose curly hair) and I’m friendly, people are comfortable with me and they talk about whatever is on their mind. I had a random woman ask me about which shoes should she buy and the next thing I knew she was crying talking about her childhood trauma 🤷🏽‍♀️. And whenever I check someone on their comments (in person) if my friends are there they are 10 toes down with me ( all different groups). And yes you’re right when someone in those groups say something crazy someone in the same group corrects them. And that’s why I said 80%-85% I’m not going to say 50% or less because that’s not my experience. I attract good people and bad people, and when they are bad people God let’s me see it so I can remove myself. 💛

Because some people just don’t know especially if you are in an environment where you don’t interact with different groups of people. I live in Florida (a transit state) and I travel often outside of the USA so I have different experiences. Because of my friendly nature and sometimes my appearance people open up to me and sometimes I get ignorant people that talk to me because they think I’m a “ different black girl “ or I have a different cultural background and they over share. Because of my demeanor some people think they can talk to me freely about anything and I’m not just talking about black women either. I get way more conversation ( by non black women) about black men and the negative stereotypes they have and I correct that conversation and move on. Most of my negative experiences where with random people I just met out or traveling. My real circle is completely different.
