Great advice. Always struggled with the grip on the front squat.

One thing of note to mention, is that, due the insertion into the humerus, difficulty getting the elbows up in front squat is often due to tight lats... increased flexibility leads to a better rack position, making 4 fingers and normal grip on the bar relatively easy in time

personally use a cross grip, but try to keep my elbows aligned. meaning one not higher than the other which is a nice part about the clean grip, unless they have some imbalances. Glad to see your open to variations as were all in different spots.

Never managed to find the clean grip, even with over a month of specific flexibility drills. Maybe because I'm tall, long arms? Anyway the cross grip's always done well with me.

I'm able to do the clean grip with two fingers, but sometimes, the bar begins to move, and I end up holding the bar with my fingers. Since I've started doing cleans, I've had some burning pains in my wrists and hands. When I cross, the bar still slips from my left shoulder. What should I focus on?

Porbably it´s because your back position, you must try to get a vertical back and no go forward, and in that way the bar no slips....

Ah, and dorsiflecxion...It´s a very necesary factor....
