I agree with it. I read the Good Book. And I made certain to reach out to Bible scholars and found out which translation was created by scholars and I had to also reference the Strong's concordance which is the Hebrew and Greek translations. I must admit it is a fascinating book. When they started talking about Melchizedek, I drove from Michigan to Arkansas to speak to a preacher that I saw reading the Good Book, word for word, verse by verse, on television, and then explaining what they were talking about. I got really excited when I read about the spaceship, it was quite interesting. And the "iron chariots with many horses" I also imagined a vehicle with "horse power" hence the term "horse power". I believe that "fire" meant "power" or "firepower" or something to that effect. And I believe that they did have knowledge beyond our understanding, but I also believe that during a cataclysmic event, the world changed and those things were destroyed by wars, or time, or both. We may be so "primitive" because they destroyed each other and the world regenerated through travelers and off the grid homesteaders (native americans, Eskimos, and Sailors for example). Maybe the reason we have not "discovered evidence" is because it was destroyed because the knowledge is too dangerous to possess because the wrong people use it to hurt people. Maybe we should do our do diligence and heed the warnings that our ancestors tried to warn us about. Be prepared for war; because it happens. Be prepared for droughts; because they happen. Be prepared for food shortages; because they happen. Be prepared for tsunamis, tornado's, hurricanes, floods, volcanoes, and earthquakes, landslides and Forrest fires; because they happen. And most importantly, and the most hard to believe which is the point that I believe Mr. Von Daniken is trying to express, is to be prepared for a spaceship with different men and speak to the people who claimed to have had contact with them and see if they have an agenda or a warning or something. There should be a collaborative effort. It's wonderful that he has chosen to do this being that he's educated and speaks many languages. People like him are hard to find. Very valuable when you need to interpret another language, like a complete alien dialect. And the crop circles. They must be a language. A symbol for something. They must have meanings. I highly doubt that farmers would ruin their own crops on purpose. And nobody hangs around in the fields watching the corn grow, so it's highly possible that they are trying to communicate with us. Maybe they are communicating with someone already and nobody believes it. I had a friend tell me an odd story about aliens from another planet that needed his help. It was pretty bizarre. I think he thought that I didn't believe him, but because he is who he is, I believed everything he said.

@@4lugan If you read the "Good Book" KJV version, which is a compilation of Historical accounts, Documented prophecies, and letters written by Apostles. It says that after the Holy spirit came upon them (Jesus and the apostles), that when they spoke, the people who were listening *HEARD* what they were saying, in their own language. It was referred to as "speaking in tongues". Which meant that when they spoke in their native tongue, whoever was listening, no matter if they spoke Chinese, Japanese, Aramaic, and/or any other language, could not hear their native tongue, but instead heard the language, which they themselves spoke. So when Jesus and the Apostles spoke Hebrew or whatever their native language was, the Japanese heard Japanese, and the Chinese heard Chinese, and the Aramaic speakers heard Aramaic. This is what they referred to when they said "speaking in tongues". Although, today, you have people who have no idea what the "Good Book" says on the whole, or in more basic terms, they haven't read it yet. And they believe whatever they are told. And then they see people who dance around and make a bunch of incomprehendible noises, as they flail all over the place singing or chanting absolutely complete gibberish, just utter nonsense. Well, that is what the uneducated people think of, when they hear the "coined term" *speaking in tongues*. I do believe that in one of the four gospels, that Jesus did have a conversation with a man, and he argued with that man, in his own language. I cannot recall which language it was. I will try to find it and give you an update. I will also find the passages that talk about speaking 🗣️ in tongues if you are interested in a good read. It is quite fascinating.

If you're a fan of Mr. Erich von Daniken, I think you'll enjoy Mauro's channel called ilveromaurobiglino, as much as I do. He's a brilliant scholar and translator of ancient texts. And yes, a very genuine and nice man. Many of the stories from the Bible that we thought we knew are very different when you go back to the oldest writings. It's fascinating! Most of his videos are in Italian but there are subtitles available in many languages. I put mine in yellow and they're easy to see, read, and follow along. I've learned so much and the stories that never made sense before, suddenly do when you understand what the writers were actually trying to say

Having read them I can assure you that they contain nothing new or unusual. They are also among the least important parts of the Bible (the minor prophets and the meghillot). You can find the exact same type of translation in English, for example the "Hebrew-English Interlinear ESV Old Testament". All that hype on "correct" translations is just a sales pitch, he wants you to believe that he can offer something you won't find elsewhere, which is not true. Of course accuracy is extremely important, but all the existing translations are basically correct. Depending on the edition, there may be two or three words that are not properly translated, but it's nothing that can change relevant aspects of the Bible.
