I also wondered about the all situation regarding the miscommunication of Rad being available to babysit his nieces and Chilli not warning Frisky about it. I like to think that maybe Chilli did in fact set those two up... possibly because Frisky had a not very pleasant break-up with Bosco.

15:00 I've never thought about it before, but now that I think about it, she might be hinting at something her ex-boyfriend did. Then when she tells Bluey to try to give it a go anyway even if she's not sure if something bad will happen again, it's her own reluctance to have another relationship.

This was the third episode of Bluey that I ever saw. I liked the first two episodes enough to be willing to watch them over and over, but this was the first episode that I really loved. This was the episode that made me realize what a special gem we have in this show. We haven’t seen a lot of him yet, but between this and “Fairytale”, I really like what I’ve seen of Uncle Rad. I wish I were more like him in personality, though I am like him in other ways. I’m the oldest, and I’m the only one of my siblings who isn’t married.

spoiler alert - don't read on if you don't want to see anything - about their social economic lives - so although not mentioned in the show on the extra materials bandit is an archeologist, and chili is a security agent at the airport.. not the most well paying jobs. this is why stripes has the better house. but a fan theory is chili sells the drugs she finds, and bandit sells the precious discoveries he finds. which is why they can be home all the time.

The Heeler family is based on the creator's own family. Joe Brumm has two brothers, with him being the middle child... the same thing goes for Bandit. In fact, Stripe is voiced by his younger brother (who also works on the show) and Nana is voiced by his mother. Since Rad works on an oil rig, he rarely sees his family, except for holydays. One thing that captured the fans' attention is the fact that Rad is half-Red, half-Blue Heeler, while the rest of his nuclear family is blue. That may mean that they have a Red Heeler ancestor.

1.) The odd thing about "The Quiet Game" episode is that they mention Muffin's birthday, yet her birthday didn't happened until Season 3. 2.) I didn't like the "Mr. Monkeyjocks" episode, but the ending of it was very sweet. 3.) Chili does have a sibling, an older sister named Brandy. 4.) As for the name thing, Chili got her name because her fur resembles bubbling chili (the white spots represent the bubbles). Socks got her name because the patterns on her paws look like she's wearing socks. Muffin got her name because she's stout, fluffy, round, and spotty like a blueberry muffin. Bingo's name is basically the dog equivalent of a gender neutral name (like Sam, Taylor, Jamie, Alex, etc. ) .
