As someone who was bullied in school, i really related to this episode. I had clay put in my hair, my glasses broken, my notebook that i wrote stories in stolen, not to mention the more subtle stuff

Surprisingly, Sheldon was never really bullied during his childhood. Young Sheldon shows that he simply had a lot of issues that caused him to perceive certain things as bullying.

I think it's so humanizing to see that Penny was the girl "bully" at her school. There were probably other girls involved in it, but it shows that evolution does take place in all people. I'd love to believe that the people who I hated in high school have gone on to be good people with some amount of empathy towards others.

I thought Amy was adorable in this episode because it shows how much joy and fun that she's been craving her whole life. An underrated moment was when she asked Penny which word was tripping her up, assuage or altruism? That showed that she's really a good friend and wasn't judgemental of Penny. Season 4 Amy would have clowned her lol. Also, you gotta love Sheldon in this episode, he was the only one in the group to stand up to Leonard's bully at the bar. And pointed out on how nerds really feel about their former bullys💯🙌. I don't wish death on nobody, of course, but I understood Sheldon's perspective 100%. That's exactly how I felt about my bullies.

There's a line between messing with someone or hazing and bullying. When the person getting messed with is laughing with you, it's all good. When they aren't laughing, it's bullying. Also if you mess with a person who's NOT a friend, that's bullying lol.

They still treat bullying like something funny and make fun of nerds, but this episode is prob the best of the show to me: -It's about their PTSD and confronting their bully. - Shows that there are always both male and female bullies. - Shows that bullies never really change, often they act different when they're alone with u or ur people, but when they are with their actual group they go back to bullying :_

There is a saying: "Only drunkards and children tell the truth", that is they show their true self.. some become very empathetic/nice/fun while others can become arrogant/violent when they are drunk, it depends on what kind of people they are deep down, people have a phasade up normally to be who they want to be perceived as Leonards former bully was the typical dude that wants to seem tough

I ran around and acted like a cartoon character in elementary school, so I feel like maybe I deserved the bullying I received back then. Not to mention I spent a chunk of my school time stalking this girl I had an obsession over. I often feel like if I was the person I am now back then, maybe I wouldn't have gotten such negative attention. These days I'm just bullied by my father, who doesn't see what he does as bullying. So, maybe if I could redo my life, it would have been better in school but not home.
