Zach doesn't deserve the mistreatment he gets hes actually a very sweet guy. He may not be smart but He is definitely the nicest person on the show

Great reaction. There was something interesting you said in your review in the end about Penny. I don't believe Penny has a hold up on love that she is fighting it's more of who the love interest is coming from. Penny is more fighting against herself more than being hung up on "I Love You". Penny life up until this point has been about barely getting thru school hanging around the popular kids dating the jocks, bad boys, the good-looking guy, her dream is to be an actress (which to her equites to being popular and famous). Love is not an issue for her because in the early episodes she always believed her past boyfriends were in love with her but none of the said it too her she just assumed it. The guys she was dating just wanted to have wild sex with her from high school under the bleachers, in the gym to anything spontaneous. Everything she thought she wanted has been a failure including her acting career her friends (more associates). Here comes Leonard "nerd" the total opposite of what she's looking for so she's using the excuse she has a hard time with love as a "crutch". Amy & Bernadett maybe a little forceful but honest with Penny. Zach is the representation of Penny life if you think about it, he covers the tall good-looking guy but not smart (which bothers penny the not so smart) Yet he's got nerd tendencies he enjoys being around the guys, but he gets picked on by them.

I always felt it was a missed oppurtunity that they didn't have some kind of spin-off or whatever featuring Zack, Kripki and Stuart as a buddy group (maybe with Levar Burton making guest appearances?). I would have totally watched that.
