For anyone wondering why Penny isn’t in this episode; Kaley Cuoco injured her leg in a horse riding accident before filming so she couldn’t be involved in this or the next episode.

Looked forward to this one, loved Amy's response when Sheldon told her he didn't "want to be attached to an object on an inclined plane wrapped helically around an axis". ("In what way are you screwed?")

Having had a colonoscopy, I can appreciate Howard's mother's accurate description. Not that I have ever verbally shared it out loud to people around me. Yet.

To be fair, when Penny introduced Bernadette to Howard, she didn't think the date would go so well, let alone that they'd be a couple. I think Bernadette meant well with Leonard's date. Probably thought she'd be fun for him.
