🖖 Thanks for this video Eric. I do enjoy dining at the family style restaurants in Japan. 12:40 I ❤️ Nagoya style Katsu with the Red Hatcho Miso sauce, an all time favorite of mine 🏆. I also appreciate that you listed the item prices in the video's description section. 🙂

I always love these fami-resu videos! But one of my favorite parts is looking over the menu and you deciding what to get. it really makes it feel like we're there with ya, and plus It gives us a chance to see the menu, the prices, and everything they have to offer. Having you entering the restaurant and go straight to having the food on table, just kinda feels like the videos been cut short. If that makes any sense LOL! Don't mind me though, there's nothing wrong with changing things up every once in a while, I'm just one of those people who notices and frets over even the smallest change. It's still an awesome video with tasty looking food, and in the end, that's what matter the most! As always, I really appreciate you sharing with us all these great restaurants. Keep up the great work!

I’ve yet to visit a Saizeriya, Gustos, or Jonathan’s during my visits to Japan. I will say that Yaoyaiken is my favorite…I’ll definitely add this to my visit list. Thanks ES6!

The prices are amazing, especially with the exchange rate to US Dollars. Seriously the family restaurants Eric takes us to in Japan border on what the US calls fine dining.

I dont know if you noticed or not but when you started cooking the meat i dont know if you were outside or there was a fan around you somewhere but your flame to cook was being blown outside of the heating fixture which is why your meat wasn't cooking properly so you know and love your video's and content keep up the awesome video's

If you haven't before, I recommend trying "cold smoked" Salmon - such as Lox or Nova. It may help you acclimate to the textures found in raw fish preparations.

The Japanese Highball is a variation of Scotch and Soda. Highball is a straightforward recipe consisting of 1 part of Japanese Whiskey (Suntory Toki would be suitable for this cocktail), 4 parts of Club Soda, and a Lemon wedge.
