What a wonderful father/son adventure video. Thanks for showcasing Niigata. Japan looks like an amazing country! Niigata looks like it could be a ski town in Austria! There seems to be such a variety to Japan's landscapes and natural wonders.

It's also a prefecture. They were in a ski resort in the area mountains. Unlikely they stayed in the actual city of Niigata which is on the coast of the Sea of Japan neighboring where the New Years earthquake struck the Noto Peninsula. Nearby Nagano is where the 1998 winter Olympics were held. Niigata and Nagano prefecture are the go to for winter enthusiasts for ⛷️🏂

Epic trip with the young bloke mate, thats Fumi's home prefecture. That onsen looked awesome, I guess it must be around Yuzawa area. I remember you doing trips out there in the non snowy months about 14 years ago with a bloke who ran adventure tours sliding down waterfalls and river rafting and stuff. Great to see your still making epic content 😀🤙
