How To Pull a Honda Steering Column

If you need to get a steering column out of a Honda, this video is for you. There's a few electrical connectors, and you may need to remove the ignition switch. Once you've done that, the rest is pretty straightforward. You may want to get help from a friend on this one so you don't drop a steering wheel on your head. Just sayn.
If you're not familiar with Pull-A-Part, they're a self service salvage company in the US. They have 25 yards in 12 states. I'm not just saying this, but they've become my favorite place to go for salvage parts. I suggest you check them out.

Very useful video. As an aside, I noticed the black driver's foot rest. I know: easy to remove (Allen key). But how the heck is it reattached?

I needed to know if I have a used coulum installed with the key it should start right up once it's installed right the doors and to the key has to be programed do it can open the doors

Took out my steering column in my 2012 civic lx and now when I reinstalled I have a VSA light and power steering light. Any ideas???

My steering wheel column cover/shroud has flat, rivet-like things set back in, instead of screws. Any advice on how to remove them?

I have a problem. My steering column is crooked. When I put the column cover on it’s shifted to the left. How do I twisted back to the center. 98 civic sedan.

I 'm replacing the column in my 2000 Accord in the morning.... I have been searching for an answer.... Is there any programming involved when I have the other column installed? I should just change the ECU too. The scanner has been telling me it's bad since I bought the car 10 years ago lol. They're just too expensive. I really would appreciate your help.

** HELP ** Why did you have to install a new steering column in the first place ? I know it was bad but why ? I hear a clunk turning my wheel left . I've seen people put grease do you recommend? Or could it break while driving ?

Since your a Honda guy and this video is about steering columns I'm curious if I can change our 04 Honda Odyssey over to a 2000 Odyssey column that has a non chip key and just tuck the immobilizer with chip under dash
