I've recently just bought a couple of these, and, despite the high price, would recommend it for any renter (which I am) who gets annoyed when visitors flip the switch. It's extremely easy to install and there's no need of electrical knowledge. There is a lag, but it's such a small lag that only those looking to nit-pick would have a problem with it. Another bonus is that my son can now operate the lights, his speech is quite clear enough yet for the echo to understand everything he says.

Thanks for the video. I know this is an old posting, but I just expanded my Hue light system with 9 more lightbulbs and my wife wanted wall switches for the dining room, stairs and living room and these will be the easiest ones for me to install. They are being delivered today. I may end up swapping them out for something with more controllability later, but for now they are what my wife wants.

Thanks for this! So glad I subscribed and turned notifications on! Currently this is out of stock on amazon but I have it ordered. My fiancé always turns the switch off where my Philips hue light is in the bedroom and this will solve my issue! Keep up the good work ! I’d love to see some more videos on home bridge and other HomeKit products!!!

How do I prevent the hue bulbs from reverting back to warm white every time I turn off at the Aurora switch? I have tried changing on the home app to a cool white and selecting last on as “power on behavior,” but as soon as bulbs are turned off it reverts to warm white

80% of my home is Philips Hue! Love the bulbs but not when someone comes home. I wish there was a switch that could be made that could use the homes wiring and be wifi enabled so there wouldn’t be a need for batteries.

Great video...I wish there is something like this available for Modern switches too as it is very true that somebody turning this switches off is a big headache and using that black tapes really ruins the decor...
