A lesser manager would've resigned months ago. EtH has done a fantastic job navigating everything that's hit this club this season. After all the challenges, he's still kept us in 6th place and in the FA Cup. The man deserves another season.

@@christiankayembe9500 We need a great manager, not an average one. ETH is average at best. A truly great manager would be able to organise and structure our players to perform to their best level, and not rely on ETH main working tool: excuses and more excuses. If SAF was here, he would quickly kick the players into shape, play really good and win games. Get us international football for sure. I like ETH, and I’m sure he is a nice guy. But sadly, everything we see from this season only proves one thing: ETH is bang average. We need a LOT better than this! ETH was hired on the hope that he would bring in the tiki-taka passing and collective organisation we saw at Ajax: nothing, seriously NOTHING of this is now evident in the current team? Why? Are our players really so bad? So poor skills level, so unmotivated, so bad grass on the pitch? So many bad judges, headwind, Glaziers, poor sleep, bad caugh, beef with Sancho, etc.etc? Whatever excuse ETH is coming up with - he is an expert excuser, after all - HE and only HE is respnsible for the team’s performance. A GREAT manager would have everyone achieve and perform great no matter the challenges. ETH has proven that he is unable to change and adjust according to the situation on the pitch. Even when we win, we still play really badly. That’s why I strongly suspect INEOS is discussing with new managers as we speak.

@@Xamxam4 if you “adjust” then you adjust effectively. Not in the way Ten Hag has. Anyhow, he is the author of his own misfortune. His “philosophy” is to play the same starting 11 in every game and go hard in all competitions. He virtually killed his first team with this approach last season going hell for leather in 4 competitions. Little wonder the first teamers started to pick up injuries from about last March and it has run over into this season as he rushes players back too soon into action.

He started with 6 available forwards this season - Rashford & Garnacho (mainly left forwards) - Martial & Højlund (Strikers) - Sancho & Antony (mainly right forwards) But Martial decided he didnt want to make an effort, Hojlund has been in and out of injury & form, and Sancho decided to leave, so its not been easy for the attacking options However, there are some things that do worry me, ETH falls out with too many players for my liking, Martial, Rashford, Sancho, Ronaldo, Varane etc.. i dont like this, Im happy to have a tough manager but I dont like managers falling out with so many players. Jose did it a little but not like this.

Joshua Zirkzee is a Man Utd type of forward & can challenge Hojlund for the No.9 shirt & a suitable replacement for Anthony Martial so he's coming to our Club in the summer.
