This season Utd have definitely been hurt by all those injuries but ETH has also refused to learn some lessons. He keeps insisting on playing Antony when Amad is clearly better and affects games more positively. Secondly aside from Martinez & Casemiro’s 1st season, ETH’s signings have been an absolute nightmare, Malacias, Amrabat, Mount, Antony, Evans, Eriksen, etc.

Klopp took 5 years. Pep took 3 years. We should challenge for league after fixing our defence this year for sure. If we qualify for Europe a double should be on the cards. He never claimed they were. He claimed they can beat the best teams out there on their good days. But still need to find the consistency. If any other team had their first choice CB out since September, 7 defenders injured some games, they would struggle too. United have been in a bad place for almost a decade before he took over - you have to be a right div if you think it was going to be done within 2 seasons

We can only challenge for the PL after fixing all the gaps in the upper structure where decsions can be made regarding recruitment of players & staff,contract renewal etc because we have thrown away millions in transfers in the last 11yrs and yet there is nothing to show for it thanks to the absence of footballing people upstairs which Mr Sir Jim and his team are working out to fix them with the appointment of Omar Berrada as the new CEO,Dan Ashworth as DOF and Jason Wilcox as the new Technical director. EtH should be given a chance under the new footballing structures at the club.

Winning the league is easy. Get players who play in the system and offload those who defy authority. Players like Mctominay, Rashford, Eriksen need to go. We need hunger in the team. Antony will come good but the players I mentioned are liabilities “to the philosophy to which is the philosophy of Lois Van Gaal”. Ten Hag needs to stamp his philosophy and let us struggle and get better gradually instead of this hogwash identity less approach that cannot be built on. We cannot keep wasting years. Ten hag must either play the kids who want to listen to the philosophy and let us finish 15th. We’ll start seeing players who fit in the system and slowly add them to help us see real signs of progress.

Everything is an excuse with this man, it is always someone else's fault. Getting in your excuses before this season even ends is just unbelievable quite honestly. What message does that send to his squad? His epic failure to get the best out of his squad and falling out with good players, his terrible tactics leaving the midfield utterly wide open and his inability to adjust are a huge part of the problem.

Tottenham and Villa have spent way less money and coaches have had less time and are playing more attractive football and getting better results. I’m a fan of ETH but he seems to gloss over the negatives and holding himself accountable. If we’re being real he’s using the trophy win and finals appearance to excuse is super poor production in the league and Champions League. Oh and this was even when he had a full squad available.
