The daily planners, like all Erin Condren products, are so well thought out and put together. The look is consistent and very nice. I'm designing my 2021 planner in a large EC monthly. I'm having fun creating exactly what I want. It's a lot of work, and I'm not sure I would do it again. Great review!

Excellent review! I used the folio system this year to capture daily highlights. I broke it into morning/afternoon/evening and it started as a mindfulness/gratitude tool. After Covid hit-it saved me so many times, as it worked for contact tracing and then-a tracker for numerous things. I have used it so much that it is a serious contender for my 2021 lineup. The only thing holding me back is my need to change things up/try new products 😁!

I’ve tried the folio system and love the functionality of it, but I think the ink shadows too heavily for me. Also, I think they should put monthly dashboards in these. It wouldn’t be adding that much bulk. Also, not a fan of the little calendar on each page. Seriously in the way.

I am fr Canada and for the most part the holidays are the same ( except our Thanksgiving is in October) of all the colours my favourite is prob. the peach and my least is the purples . I wish the colours were more pastel. Love that the hexagon is taken out but do not like the mirroring of the days would rather the same layout in both pages . The weekend on one day I don’t mind . Just wish it was in black and white or pastels and not mirroring pages . Love the colour of the new folio cover, 😊Used this years until the daily duo came but I don’t need the hourly or such a big planner so may go back . Still on the fence if I will get it .🤔 Great job , very informative video .

Love these little planners. I think they have 2 notes pages in the 1st quarter because of February only having 28 days...just a thought. Thanks for a great video review!

Such a beautiful color on that folio. I really wish that the folio system had worked out for me and sad that it didn't. It seems on paper (no pun intended) that it would be exactly what I need but the strings got too annoying for me to be honest. For next year I went with Simplified and am going to take the time to decide if I want to switch over to a better disc system or a ring system as I really do crave the flexibility to be able to add pages or other things in.

I love everything about the new daily petites, the colors, the blank space up top BUT I'm so dissapointed that they still kept the month-at-a-glance on each page....especially in the area that I could use for other purposes. I'm with you, Amanda, I don't get needing to look at the month each day, I'll just flip back to the main monthly page if I need to. So bummed but other than that, it's beautiful. I hope one day they will give us a deep teal folio the same color as the inside of this new Shimmer Pool folio.🤞🏼

I wanted you to convince me to try out the folio system but I think you convinced me to stick it out with the coil LOL. I love it, but there are enough things I don't love (notes pages, come on!!) that make me think I need to stick with the coiled books.

How do these compare to the planner perfect inserts? I.e. paper quality, size. I’ve started the scripting method in some of the petite journals (since I already had them) and am enjoying the process. Are the PP inserts worth the extra expense?

It just really depends on what matters most to you if they are worth that extra expense. The Planner Perfect Paper has tooth, and takes all art mediums well....especially fountain pen. I would say the paper is thicker than the EC Petite Planners (EC doesn't list the paper weight on these so can't be sure). But it is also just different as I mentioned, and better quality. Planner Perfect I appreciate the custom artwork that is on every cover, and you get to choose script for the cover or go blank and customize the inside pages. Overall PP is better quality IMO and a more custom book. They aren't mass produced like EC, and you are supporting a Mom and Pop shop. For me personally right now they are worth it. I love them, and they bring me joy. If I was at a point where I couldn't afford PP (which for many years of my adult life I was there) then I would have gone with a cheaper option and been happy with it. Hope that helps;) Oh, PP is 24 lb Strathmore paper which is like 60# text weight. Like I said EC doesn't list their weight.

Amanda's Favorites Amanda...thank you so much for responding! You answered exactly what I needed to know regarding paper quality. The deal I’ve made with myself is to continue the method in the books I have. (I’m a big fan of start where you are.) If the scripting continues to be a good fit for me, I’m planning to start the new year in the PP notebooks. It’s been a while since my Midori days & am looking forward to traveler’s notebooks again.

I know with Covid some shipments have been slowed down....From what I was told they were supposed to be on the site today 9-24. I will let you know if I hear anything about that;)

They are listed as the same 80# weight...but the paper is not the same. So the weight might be the same...but the paper doesn't feel as thick and doesn't have the "tooth" texture that the coiled life planner has.

I really want to buy these inserts but I use a B6 Chic Sparrow cover. Someday I hope that Erin Condren starts selling their inserts in more sizes so I can use them.

The two notes pages in the first book are there, because February has only 28 day and they need to have the same amount of pages in each book.

First off- Your videos are so fun and also soooo helpful. I love the thought that you put into them and how you suggest ways to use different spaces. You open my eyes to how certain things could work for me. Seriously , rather than saying "oh I don't know what I would use this space for," like some others do, you list off like 10 things. Amazing! Second- Do you have plans to get the Monthly Petite Planner? I was seriously considering it, but their customer service is insisting the 2021 version only has 5 note pages after the month spreads (2020 had almost 40!). I actually asked them to double check because I can't hardly believe they would change it that drastically. I'm crossing my fingers that it's a mistake! I need to find someone who has it! Emergency! lol.

Thank you for this video!! I had no idea they were launching these today. I have been checking every week on their page. I bought so much on friends and family sale, finally got a folio cover and got free shipping on Tuesday, then the next day they Finally restock the glitter sleeve so I paid 6.95 shipping, then today they launch these and the beautiful camel cover!! Another shipping fee lol. EC is killing me!! Lol! I am DONE spending money. I am waiting on that extra folio cover though. How often do they do the family and friends sale?? I have definitely learned that they launch beautiful stuff the very next day after you spend almost $100!!! Lol!! Smh!! Can you tell i am new to EC?? I bought one quarter of daily petite planner to try it out and I am HOOKED.

I understand! They don't do a 25% OFF site wide very often maybe 3 times a year? Black Friday/cyber Monday will be one of them. They always save the new products for after a big sale like that. I am glad the video helped....and if you need anything else I would wait for the Black Friday/cyber Monday if you can! Have a good weekend:)

I really love the idea of the petite planners, but I can't get into bound planners. I need a coil so I can fold the book back. These are a great option though for those who don't mind them being bound and want something small and portable.

I wasn't sent one. They might have one on the site, or they might be coming out with one later in the year. This isn't the only time of year that they come out with new Petite Planners...it's just the biggest one because they launch the daily now.

Agree 100%. I use the petite daily undated- which I LOVE BTW (no dealing with mini-monthly calendar wasting page space, zero wasted days + you can do Sat/Sun as you wish) and the layout is also mirrored. It’s somehow chaotic to my brain-counterproductive to being organized! It’s irritating because it’s literally the ONLY thing I don’t love about it.

These planner designers need to understand that there are people who work full time on the weekends. Some industries are 7 days a week. I would prefer and need a full page for the weekends.
