A Norwegian singing with a southern US accent? No they wouldn't. He has a great voice but being fake with the accent is just....fake.

@@SagebrushRambles I don’t know anything about him, but why would you assume it’s a fake accent? He might have easily spent time in the US and happened to learn the language in the south. A friend of mine came from Ireland and learned my language in our region. Now he speaks it in a very distinct dialect. It’s not fake, that’s how he learned it, because that’s how people speak here. It’s not like everyone picks up languages in school or from books, they actually learn it while traveling, as exchange students or simply while they spend time in different countries. So, as a Norwegian British English would be ok then? LOL, well unless he’d spend too much time in Northern Ireland; then no one would understand him anymore and he wouldn’t even have to fake it, because sounds like a made up accent😂😂 I think this guy just genuinely sounds like this when he speaks/sings in English...might also be due to the tone of his voice...but hey, what do I know🤷🏼‍♀️

@@wildoregon1010 how do you know that he faked it? What if that’s where he actually learned English and just picked up the accent because that’s how they speak there? Wouldn’t be fake then but the way he heard, learned and memorized it...just saying, you never know. We basically were taught British English in school. Then I’ve spent years in the US and I can tell you there’s NOTHING British left 😂 It’s different when it’s not your mother tongue, you actually sort of blend in and adapt to your environment which also applies to the language, I suppose...

Love him too. Matoma always goes with his heart while the other judges look at eachother to see if someone else push the button. He seems like such a wonderful and kind man with a big heart. Too bad, since he is «just» a DJ/producer, the contestants seems to chose some of the other judges when they get to chose a judge. I think the others gave this contestant to him (and didnt turn), since they saw how he loved it. ina Wroldsen is the most popular judge. All the best contestant chose her (cause she has an amazing voice and is an amazing songwriter), so I do understand that. In previous season, Espen Lind (next to Matoma) was always the most popular that everyone chose, so was Lene Marlin and Morten Harket also, when they were a judge. (all of them amazing voices).
