In this timeline, I wouldn't call Ermac good but I wouldn't call him evil either. He's more of a neutral character. Sure he was initially evil when Quan Chi created him, but that was because Quan Chi created him to be his servant. When Jerrod temporarily took control of Ermac, it broke the spell that bound Ermac's souls together and he became good. But once Jerrod loses control, Ermac is no longer bound to Quan Chi's service, but he's no longer bound to the royal family either, and therefore he became neutral. His goal now is to basically find his purpose.
