Surely this approach is not going to work in most cases. Did you notice this message, "Total identified Windows installations: 0" ? What do you think would be included into boot menu in this case ? Also, do you know every difference between UEFI boot and BIOS/CSM boot ? In simple cases, you need at least to ensure you can access your HDD partition as a filesystem (try running chkdsk on this partition if you can't, and then repeat). Next, you need to ensure you can access \windows\system32\config\system registry hive on this filesystem (run regedit and try to load it as a sub-branch of HKLM). Only then it would make sense to run bootrec/scanos or /rebuildbcd, and ensure it does find more than 0 Windows installations

Pero me gusta buscar mucho en el internet los problemas que enfrento y mis amigos enfrentan con esto de la tecnología. Entre a este tema porque también me pasaba intentando instalar windows en la pc de mi madre. Sucede lo siguiente. Mi pc no pasaba del logo de inicio ni del titulo iniciando reparación. Acudí a botear mi memoria con windows 10 y configure la bios para que no arranque con UEFI. Sucede que me presentaban lo mismo: efi part please remove this media and press any key for reboot.. Encontré esta solución que me funciono. Utilizando el programa rufus (Esta gratis en la web) hice boteable mi memoria. /El problema es que lo hacia en formato GTP (En la opción esquema de partición) Lo correcto es hacerlo en MBR. Al seleccionar esto rápidamente el formato de la memoria pasa de Fat32 a NTFS. Solo debes de cambiar de GTP a MBR y asesorar que este en NTFS. Por lo demás deja todo como predeterminado. Si tienes algún problema no dudes en responder.

Hey! When I try to do bootrec/fixboot, it shows me error as " the volume does not contain a recognised file system. Please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupted'. Could u please help me with this? How to fix this
