Greetings from Turkey. Descendants of Ertuğrul's son Gündüz, they still live in the villages of that region today. In other words, most of the people in those regions are descendants of Ertuğrul. The names of many villages in Bursa and nearby cities are Ertuğrul and Gündüz.

Iam so emotional right now. After watching drama series Ertugrul Ghazi. Iam so hyped, patriotic and i can't express any further. Ertugrul is my hero just like all other muslims' hero. I personally want to visit his tomb and pay respect. Much much respect for Ottomans, their ancestors and turks. You Turks are leaders of Islam. Whenever i think about how Ottoman Sultanate broke into pieces, believe me I cry. I pray to Allah that please revive Ottoman Empire. We need it the most in these times. If in future I get a chance to contribute in revival of Khilafat, I will render my services, I will sacrifice my anything for Khilafat's revival. I know Islam will rise, we as an 'Ummah' will rise again. I know that Khilafat will revive. Insha Allah. Assalam U Alaikum from Pakistan. Lots of love and respect to all our brave and pious warriors. Went to Turkey last year and was a great experience, such a nice country. People are very hospitable, I was staying in a hotel in a middle class neighbour hood and on every salat(prayer) I was going to a near Masjid. People were very sweet and hardly few people speaks English but one Turkish brother forcefully took me and my friend for a dinner. May Allah give them the Glory of Islam again they really deserve it. I am not Muslim but I love the character, the show, and for that time period, the warriors they became to survive. What a great man who honored not only his traditions, but seemed to have a strong sense of justice. Even his enemies respected him. Turgut bay was:is my favorite character but they all played an important role in our history. They should always be remembered.

Ertuğrul Gazi is my super hero cause when I was little I had two open heart surgery and a stroke and have asburgers so I always been in and out of hospitals cause I always had surgery and I am always afraid of needles. When I learned about Ertuğrul I thought myself to be strong like him and I am.And I always talk to him in my heart. Love from America 🇺🇸
