It's great to see and hear a fighter type familiar to us in that condition. Absolutely brilliant rebuilding. Thank you for your work and the video. In my mind, I see the blue and white von Rosen cross as the country's emblem and Jorma Sarvanno's takeoff on a sunny day on January 6, 1940, and the rest is history

Beautiful classic aircraft. I am partial to air craft with fixed landing gear. They are simpler.

What you say cost years not months to realise, even when you have the right engine in your hand. 😂 And why? Why use an engine made from unobtainium with all the maintainance headaches included. Result will be that you will see it practicaly never fly.

Vanwege dat CO2 gezwam denk ik dat een open dag van de KLU ver te vinden is. En daar baal ik best van.

En origineel type plaatje van de echte 229, geborgen en gedoneerd door het CRASH museum (als ik het hoed heb).

Zo mooi om een vliegende D21 in Nederland te hebben. Respect voor de bouwers en de vlieger. Maar wel een klein puntje. Waarom rookt hij zo als een Phantom vroeger deed? Rijk afgesteld om de motor goed in te laten lopen?

Rijke afstelling sloopt een motor, ook een nieuwe. En de rook vind ik wel meevallen. Dit soort motoren verbruiken standaard liters olie per uur.
