thank you hoey! to be completely honest, when i first discovered the song a few years ago, i didn't think i'd ever be capable of finishing such a personal project like this. but i'm glad i tried, and i know my younger self would be happy to see this :x)

I thought this was made by flip note!!! wow this is incredible you captured the stylization so good in toonsquid! I love this song, this is incredibly well done. I never really looked into the lyrics until now, and it makes a lot more sense in my head wow. I love this.

Magnificent work, Sul, you crammed so much intriguing imagery into this! Without a doubt, this is now my favorite AMV (although, to be fair, I generally don’t watch these sorts of videos). There’s no doubt in my mind that your artistic ability will get some serious acclaim one day if you’re already making stuff like this!

ghank u so much eli!! one of the biggest goals i had with this was to pack as much imagery as i could to give others the opportunity to interpret the message. especially with all the chess pieces, everything.. after finishing this, i'm starting to feel a lot more confident in my animation skills, and i really do hope i end up pushing myself to create more!

Yoooo what the hell- this is awesome?!?! 1, this song is fucking good. 2, the animation is so unique and like- manages to be so smooth but grating at the same time which is outright amazing.
