This is a very powerful and moving story of Sheldon's life from 6 years old to adulthood, "NOT THE SAME" meaning apart from his external rejections but from his own internal fight to be excepted, and in the end "ADULTHOOD" he reveals himself to the outside world. Listening to the words closely and following in his journey through the emotional delivery of his life from childhood to adulthood through the music, lyrics, and performance, made me shed a few tears.

I never thought or heard anyone missing a crescendo in this song, I think that would have been to formulaic. The whole piece is kinda like a crescendo. It's an interesting performance, I never knew where he was going in the song but I was happy following him. I really don't get the reference to Sam Smith, all respect to him but I have never wondered where he is going with his song.

Just my opinion (and what do I know - nothing), but this reaction falls short and is somewhat dull! Love from Sweden.

I thought it was a great performance. It'll definitely qualify and possibly Top 10. I don't know, maybe you guys are just biased against Asian singers.

Beautiful song, but it needs more lyrics because it starts to feel repetitive. I love the staging and hope they don't change anything! Hope it qualifies, because I'd love to hear it performed twice :)

I generally like the song but after a while it gets repetative for me, he has an amazing voice and the staging is pretty good. It just gets a bit boring after some time.

Waaay to overdramatic for me...and when people think, that the lyrics are quite flat...it doesn't mean that they don't react in a eurovision way...they just think it was quite flat. And I agree

I don’t know. On paper I should love this. I appreciate the sentiment - I lived it - but I don’t find this moving at all. He’s undeniably talented but I think the performance is just too purposefully dramatic all the way through for me. And the song itself isn’t like super catchy. I can appreciate it for the performance piece that it is but somehow it’s not taking me there - and I would not listen to it on purpose I’m afraid. I have no idea how this will do but would expect it to qualify. After that it may be up to the juries.
